LEGO Icons Tropical Aquarium Coming!

This home decor aquarium comes with fun functions. Rotate the dials and cranks to animate a swimming fish, swaying coral, a crab emerging from an underwater cave, and an opening treasure chest. The aquarium includes 4 model fish and comes with a variety of plants and coral, sea worms, and an oyster shell containing a pearl, plus LEGO sea snails and air bubbles. The fish tank in this 4,154-piece LEGO® aquarium building set measures over 14 in. (36 cm) high, 20.5 in. (52 cm) wide, and 11 in. (28 cm) deep.

And just when you thought the LEGO Icons Tropical Aquarium couldn’t get any cooler, you will be able to expand the set with the #5009823 LEGO Fish Tank Filter & Fish Food set. The filter sits outside the main tank with its intake tube and water spill positioned inside. You’ll also spot a stray fish that has wandered inside the filter. A box of fish food decorated with a hungry LEGO fish completes the scene.     Oh my, how lovely! It’s so big though…

    I guess it’ll make up for me deciding to not get that huge Batman the Animated Series Gotham City mural thing.

    Lego’s definitely figured out how to drive early sales for these big sets with those little freebees. Most everything else I never buy when it’s first released. Gotta wait for sales or for when I need to order stuff to grab the latest GWP set.

    I really like the textures of the coral and other plants and how they did the ripples in the background. I don’t think I will get it as it’s too big and expensive for me, but I like it.

    Magnificent colors! So vibrant and alive. I love it. I would agree that glass or a clear plexiglass frame would make it better.
    I think this costs more than a real fish tank. Unfortunately, $480 is out of my price range. I would think this could find a place in doctors’ waiting rooms.
