I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and perhaps even received some LEGO gifts and had the time to build them! And if you need more bricks for your projects or would like to expand your collection, between now and the end of the year is one of the best times to do so. LEGO has already started their year-end clearance, offering some fantastic deals as they make room for new sets coming next year.
As usual, expect the clearance deals to come in waves. Currently, LEGO is offering a medley of sets from LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Speed Champions, LEGO Friends, LEGO Disney, as well as an assortment of accessories at 30-60% off. And it’s a good idea to check back frequently to see what else is added. It’s also worth checking other retailers’ after-Christmas clearance aisles. They are often eager to move old stock to free up room for new arrivals.
And while you’re browsing the Online LEGO Shop, you can also take a look at most of the sets that will be coming at the beginning of January. Some of them are already available for pre-order, and others – although not yet available – can be added to your wish-list. I got the Jazz Club modular! It was the last Modular building on my wish list, the local Lego store never seemed to have it in stock (I’ll get it when they have it back in stock) , and it retired sooner than I expected. I got the money to buy it four days after it sold out at the Lego web site but I found that the local Barnes and Noble still had some.
tldr: I got the Jazz Club modular for Christmas! I’m still pretty excited, lol!
That’s one of my favorite modulars. The colors work so well and it looks good next to any of the others. I’m toying with the idea of adding a second story to the short yellow side.
I got the jazz club too. It would go great with my other modular buildings. Plus I got a few star wars clone wars sets. Even the ones that was harshly criticized for the price and the set itself. Thank you Amazon. Sorry, Lego. It’s a consumers Creed if you can get it cheaper get it there. Actually, I distribute my finances with both Amazon and the Lego web site. To be fare . As for the new sets. I’m looking at the airport set. Got the planes need the airport. 😎
I’m looking forward to the new modular. I didn’t like it at first, but it’s growing on me. And I still have to build a couple of older sets I got earlier this year but never had the time to build. Overall, I think this was a great year for Lego.
I found some technic and botanical sets on clearance at our local walmart. So if you’re into those, it’s worth a check. Oh, and also couple of the speed champions sets. Not all of them, but a few.
