LEGO Modular Shopping Street Coming!

Today, the LEGO Group unveils the latest addition to the LEGO Modular Buildings collection: the #11371 LEGO Icons Shopping Street! Details below.

Inspired by historic European architecture, this richly detailed model features buildings with charming, angled walls, ornate facades, a central alleyway, and a classic plaza.

The 3-level building features a 2-story music shop with marching-band instruments, as well as an adjacent furniture shop complete with a counter, stools, a table, and a workshop.

The top floor is home to a furnished flat with a bathroom, while a roof garden provides space for potted plants and a pigeon coop.

As you can see below, the new building blends in perfectly with LEGO Modular Buildings from previous years, and the corridor between the two buildings provides visual interest.

Perfect for home office decor, this model includes 7 minifigures and a modular design with easy access to the interior. This building set contains 3,456 pieces.

The #11371 LEGO Icons Shopping Street is going to be available starting on January 1st. Prices are as follows: 249,99 USD / 249,99 EUR / 229,99 GBP. For more information, visit the LEGO Icons section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Very cool! Did you notice the wooden duck in the corner of the workshop . ( a piece of Lego history).

I’m not feeling the colors. They look too dull.

It’s like a combination of the boutique hotel and assembly square. I think it’s okay, except for the roof of the tower. The top is too small and weird in my opinion.

It’s basically a smaller version of the assembly square and boutique hotel, like someone else said. I watched a couple of review videos, and while it doesn’t look that good by itself, it surprisingly well next to the other buildings. I like it better than the museum, but far less than the other sets. And the price! Why is it so high?!

I acknowledge that it’s hard to match last year’s modular, and I plan to get this as well, but I’m not so into it. I think that it’s the colors that does it such a disservice. I like the design otherwise. It’s different.

This is a beautiful set, but (as with much in life) prices keep going up.
I need to buy a couple of the previous ones before they disappear. I almost never see a reason to buy a set when it first appears.
Someone suggested (very correctly, in my view) that LEGO introduce a second series of “mini-modulars” in the $40-$60 range. The recent Bricklink Popcorn Wagon would be a good example. So might be the current Winter gift with purchase.
    Enjoy!!!
