Here is another great video by the BrotherhoodWorkshop that was created for the “How It Should Have Ended” YouTube channel. In case you are not familiar with it, HISHE features funny alternate endings to movies. This is the second collaboration between the BrotherhoodWorkshop and HISHE. The previous video was an alternate ending to The LEGO Movie (see link at the end of this post). The second video is a recreation of a famous scene from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. 🙂

LEGO Stop Motion Video by the Brotherhood Workshop

In this LEGO stop-motion video by the BrotherhoodWorkshop Aragorn calls on the Army of the Dead to fight the Orcs, just like in the movie. However he didn’t consider that even the Orcs know who to call…

This is a beautifully created stop-motion video, especially taking into account how many characters are involved. However what brickfilmers have been most curious about is how Kevin created the ghost effect. So he posted a behind-the-scenes video explaining how the ghosts were done. It is a pretty involved process, but very effective.

Unfortunately the LEGO Lord of the Rings sets used in this video have been retired, however if you are looking for some Middle Earth sets and characters the LEGO The Hobbit sets are still available at the Online LEGO Shop. And of course the LEGO Ghostbusters Ecto-1 is also an official LEGO set you can find here.

Also, if you would like to learn more about LEGO stop-motion, I highly recommend checking out the other videos from the BrotherhoodWorkshop listed below, or you can also visit their YouTube Channel directly for more.

LEGO Ninjago Chen’s New Chair mini-movies

There is a fun series of LEGO Ninjago mini-movies I thought to share with you today. The story revolves around Master Chen getting himself a new chair, with lots of buttons and gizmos – just the way he likes it. However because Master Chen is too impatient to read the instructions a whole series of Chen and chair pastimes were born. 🙂

LEGO Ninjago Chen's New Chair Mini Movies

There are four mini-movies related to the Chen and chair stories. Each episode is only a about half a minute long and featuring Chen, his sidekick Clouse and of course the chair. The first episode is titled LEGO Ninjago Chen’s New Chair, which revolves around getting the chair. In the next two episodes LEGO Ninjago Chairful What You Wish For, and LEGO Ninjago Chair Up Chen, Clouse stands by as Chen plays around with the multitude of buttons on his new chair. The fourth episode is titled LEGO Ninjago Chair Plays Chen, where Clouse plays table-tennis with Chen, and as you might have guessed, the chair is also involved. You can watch all the episodes in the video-player below. Enjoy! 😀

Funny, isn’t it? Chen has been a particularly annoying badguy in the LEGO Ninjago episodes, kind of like a combination between a spoilt brat and a super villain, and it’s fun to watch his evil schemes that usually backfire on him. What do you think? How do you like these LEGO Ninjago mini-movies? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below! Also, if you don’t have Chen yet in minifigure form you can still get the sets at the LEGO Ninjago section of the Online LEGO Shop.
