In the November/December 2014 issue of the LEGO Club Magazine appeared the first picture of the Series 4 LEGO Mixels characters under the title: Mixels in SPAAAAACE!! And since then official images of each tribe also became available. So let’s take a look at each of the new tribes. 🙂
➡ LEGO MIXELS SERIES 4 – ORBITRONS: Looks like Mixels have gone into space in white and lime-green suits! Just like with the previous LEGO Mixels tribes, there are three members of the tribe here: #41527 LEGO Mixels Rokit, #41528 LEGO Mixels Niksput and #41529 LEGO Mixels Nurp-Naut. Notice the new printed 2×2 round tile element for Nurp-Naut’s eye, and the other very useful small parts in great colors!
➡ LEGO MIXELS SERIES 4 – INFERNITES: We have gotten the red and fiery Infernites in LEGO Mixels Series 1 previously, and I guess they are back with more characters! We have #41530 LEGO Mixels Meltus, #41531 LEGO Mixels Flamzer, and #41532 LEGO Mixels Burnard. These wacky little guys have so much personality, it is hard to resist their monstrous cuteness!
➡ LEGO MIXELS SERIES 4 -GLOWKIES: This is another new tribe with dark-blue and glow-in-the-dark pieces! They kind of look like bats, or other creepy creatures of the night. The three members of the tribe are: #41533 LEGO Mixels Globert, #41534 LEGO Mixels Vampos, and #41535 LEGO Mixels Boogly. These will definitely be popular for the glow-in-the-dark elements!
And that sums up all of the new LEGO Mixels tribes. LEGO Mixels have been a very popular theme both with people who like the characters for their cuteness, and also with those who are looking for rare and interesting elements. Most notably LEGO Mixels introduced a whole range of small ball-joints and printed eye pieces that were not available previously. Also, they include other rare elements like the tooth pieces, small curved slopes, and other pieces in rare colors. In addition, LEGO Mixels is a great LEGO theme to collect without breaking the bank. LEGO Mixels Series 4 should be available early next year, and in the meantime you can check out the currently available LEGO Mixels characters at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think of Series 4 of the LEGO Mixels characters? Do you like them? Hate them? Or no idea what to think of them? Have you been collecting the previous series? How do you think this last series compares? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below! 😉
