May the 4th is the official Star Wars Day with special celebrations and events for Star Wars fans. LEGO also traditionally focuses on Star Wars sets this month; releasing new sets, offering exclusive minifigs and more. Check out the May LEGO Store Calendar below and you see what I mean! 🙂
First of all, the #75059 LEGO Star Wars Sandcrawler will be available on May 3rd. We have talked about this awesome new version of the Sandcrawler before, you can see all the details and watch the designer-video here: LEGO Star Wars Sandcrawler Press-Release.
Also, you will receive a free, very special Darth Revan minifig with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $75 or more, between May 3-5. I had no idea who Revan was, so looked it up on the Star Wars wiki. Apparently he was a Jedi who later turned into a Sith. “Savior, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all things Revan… and yet you are nothing. In the end you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone.” – said Darth Malak, another character I’m not familiar with. You will also get a free LEGO Star Wars poster on any LEGO Star Wars purchase between May 3-5. And some LEGO Star Wars sets will be 15% off at the same time period, while supplies last. Check them out below, and visit the Online LEGO Shop to take advantage of the discounts.
The rest of May will also be sprinkled with various Star Wars related events; the LEGO Club Meeting T-shirt features Anakin Skywalker, May 19-31st there will be LEGO Star Wars droids hidden around LEGO Stores and if you find them all you can enter to win a LEGO Star Wars set. Not all of the promotions are about LEGO Star Wars. The LEGO Simpsons minifigures officially get released today, and for VIP members there is going to be early access to a new exclusive set starting on May 15th. Although it is not specified, I’m pretty sure this is going to be the #10244 LEGO Creator Fairground Mixer in the Expert Builder series – a really interesting set we will talk about shortly.
