Watch the LEGO Legends of Chima TV show!

The LEGO Legends of Chima TV show premiered just a couple of days ago on Cartoon Network. The LEGO Legends of Chima TV show has been created by the same team who was working on the Ninjago story, so both Chima fans and Ninjago fans have been curious of how Legends of Chima will turn out. So let’s watch it and see what happens! 🙂

LEGO Legends of Chima Coming Soon!

Please note that the videos may take a couple of seconds to start playing. Also, there will be a brief commercial at the beginning, but after that they should be playing fine. The videos are not yet available on YouTube, so this is the only way I could find to watch the episodes at this point. Enjoy! 😛

LEGO Legends of Chima Episode 1 – The Legends of Chima

LEGO Legends of Chima Episode 2 – The Great Story

So what do you think? How did you like the Legends of Chima so far? What did you like the most about it? And was there something you didn’t like? I liked how the Speedorz game was integrated into the story, but found the story-telling a bit disjointed. Like LEGO was trying to reveal too much of the story too fast – kind of like a person talking a hundred miles an hour. I would have been happy just to learn about the background of the tribes and their world before all the warring broke out. What are your thoughts? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

2013 LEGO Star Wars Planets series 3 & 4

We talked about the 2013 LEGO Star Wars sets already, but only briefly mentioned the LEGO Star Wars Planets series coming out this year. However since now we have pictures I thought it is a good time to revisit these mini LEGO Star Wars sets. 🙂

LEGO Star Wars Planets Series 1 & 2

The LEGO Star Wars Planets series started last year with three planets in Series 1 and three planets in Series 2. This year we will be getting Series 3 and Series 4 with three more planets in each. Bringing the LEGO Star Wars Buildable Galaxy Collection (another name for these sets) to 12 planets all – well, kind of… because as you will see Planet Endor shows up twice and some are not really planets (like the Asteroid field)… 🙄

LEGO Star Wars Planets Series One Details

Each of the LEGO Star Wars Planets contain a mini model of a Star Wars vehicle, a minifigure, and a printed globe that represent a planet. The globe can be hung up with a hook at the top to create your own Universe, or it can also be opened up to store both the minifigure and the vehicle.

LEGO Star Wars Planets Series Two Details

I know some LEGO Star Wars fans who love these little sets and collect them. I have also seen some pretty creative designs using those globe pieces – which were originally considered quite useless. Other Star Wars fans are still not sure if they should get into collecting these miniature sets. One thing is for sure though; if you want to get into LEGO Star Wars without breaking the bank, the LEGO Star Wars Planets series is your best option. You get some nice minifigures, and some swooshable mini-models for the fraction of the price of the bigger LEGO Star Wars sets.

Below are the 2013 LEGO Star Wars Planets sets in Series 3 and Series 4, so you can decide if you would like to get into collecting them.
