Ninjago costumes, hoodies, T-shirts are fun!

LEGO Ninjago has a huge fan-base, especially amongst pre-teens and young teens; an age-group where role-play is still serious business. After all who doesn’t want to be an awesome ninja like Kai, Jay, Cole and Zane? Or even the legendary Green Ninja? I know I do, and I’m a grown-up! 😛

Having Halloween in mind I got curious to see if there are any LEGO Ninjago costumes out there. I found quite a bit of generic ninja costumes, but what really caught my eyes are these LEGO Ninjago hoodies available on eBay. Although these can certainly be used as Ninjago costumes for Halloween, I have read the reviews and these are in fact cozy, high quality hoodies suitable for everyday use.

Aren’t they great? I love how the Ninjago face is printed on the hood and the details are just perfect! The hoodie is available with Lloyd (green ninja), Kai (red ninja), Jay (blue ninja) and Cole (black ninja) design. I didn’t see Zane. The hoodies are available in several sizes. It’s probably too late to get them for Halloween, but they would still make a great Christmas present for Ninjago fans. 😉

Below is a link to all the Ninjago hoodies on eBay, if you want to check them out. Some of them are listen auction-style and some with a fixed price, so I suggest you compare: LEGO NINJAGO Hoodies on eBay

I have also found lots of Ninjago clothing on Amazon. These are mostly T-shirts with various Ninjago prints, maybe not as cool as the hoodies, but if you are looking for gift items for young ninja in training, this is another place you can look: LEGO NINJAGO Clothing on Amazon

And if you just want Ninjago costumes there are plenty of those as well. I would check eBay for these: LEGO NINJAGO Costumes on eBay

So are you planning to dress up as a ninja for Halloween? And how do you like the other Ninjago clothing? What do you think of the hoodies? Have you seen other cool Ninjago outfits? Share your thoughts below! 😀

2013 LEGO sets: LEGO Star Wars pictures!

(Written by Nathan K. – ntk743)

Have you seen the images of the 2013 LEGO Star Wars sets yet? They have been circulating around LEGO blogs and forums in the past few days. In my opinion the 2013 LEGO Star Wars sets and especially the minifigures look amazing! 😛

I used to be a big LEGO Star Wars fan, but since Ninjago came out I pretty much neglected Star Wars. But with these new amazing sets I think I might jump back into Star Wars! I love how the new sets are based on the old Star Wars movies. Okay, so let’s look at the pictures! 😉

#75000 LEGO STAR WARS Clone Troopers vs. DroidekasThis battle-pack includes two Battle Droids and two Clone Troopers, and comes with 124 pieces. Also, did you notice the new Star Wars box-art for next year? In the year of 2012 we had Darth Maul, and now Yoda!  Battle-packs usually have a RRP of $13, so I’m guessing that’s what the price will be.

#75001 LEGO STAR WARS Republic vs. Sith TroopersThis is another battle-pack with two Sith troopers and two of the new kind of Republic troopers, which I love! Price should be $13 also.

#75002 LEGO STAR WARS AT-RT We have seen these walkers before but this one is with a new color scheme, which I think is nice. The three minifigures included are also sweet, although not really unique. My guess is that this set will be about $30.

#75003 LEGO STAR WARS A-wing Starfighter – A nice little A-wing, and it appears that the mechanic comes with a new helmet! Still, I don’t think this set will be such a big hit. At least I’m not crazy about it. Price should be around $25.

#75004 LEGO STAR WARS Z-95 HeadhunterThis set has a pretty neat name!  And it comes with three minifigures; one of them is a really interesting character named Pong Krell. He is a four-armed Jedi master who likes to fight with two dual light-sabers. I read somewhere that the piece used for his extra arms is the same as the one used for Lord Garmadon. This set sounds really interesting!

#75005 LEGO STAR WARS Rancor PitThis set is really cool! I love the big ugly monster! Also, it appears that the Rancor Pit can be attached to #9516 LEGO Star Wars Jabba’s Palace! Since this is a big set, my guess is the price will be around $75.

#75012 LEGO STAR WARS BARC SpeederThis is a smallish set with two speeders and three or four minifigures. I can’t tell for sure as the box shows four minifigures, whereas the other picture only has three. I believe the blue trooper is Captain Rex. I also like Obi-Wan’s new suit. The price is probably around $20.

#75013 LEGO STAR WARS Umbarran Mobile Heavy CannonThis set is really cool even without the minifigures! The heavy cannon is awesome! Four minifigures are included, and I love the new Ahsoka Tano’s new suit! I would say this set would be about $60.

That’s it as far as the LEGO Star Wars sets for 2013 revealed so far! There are also six new sets in the LEGO Star Wars Planets series, but those could be covered in a separate post. And to check out the currently available LEGO Star Wars sets visit the Online LEGO Shop:
