As usual at this time of the year LEGO is gearing up for the holidays with starting the LEGO sale season early. Expect various promotions and deals all the way up to Christmas. If you shop online one challenge I have found is that the Online LEGO Shop does run out of sets frequently. They are usually still available for back-order to receive at a later date, but if you want to make sure a LEGO set gets under the Christmas tree, I would suggest you take the necessary steps now. 🙄

As far as what kind of sales to expect during the holiday LEGO sale season, based on what we know from previous years, it is usually Double VIP Points, Free Shipping above a certain amount of spending, and sometimes a small set, promotional minifigure, or other freebie. As far as lower prices on sets, usually that doesn’t happen until a day or so after Christmas. For the month of October (yeah we are there already – can you believe it?!) the following LEGO sales and deals are available:

➡ Double LEGO VIP Points on All Purchases – if you are not yet a LEGO VIP member I highly recommend you sign up. Membership is free, and you earn points with every purchase you can redeem later. If you shop for LEGO frequently, this is a no-brainer deal. You do run the risk of something you want running out (including the promotional TC-14 minifigure), so you just have to weigh the pros and cons depending on what is most important to you.
