2012 LEGO sets: LEGO NINJAGO more pictures!

In my previous post on the 2012 LEGO NINJAGO line I included pictures of all the upcoming NINJAGO sets and some of the minifigures, but I did not have pictures of the 2012 NINJAGO spinners and booster packs.

But now the wait is over! Here are the pictures of the 2012 LEGO NINJAGO spinners and booster packs! (You can click on any of the pictures for a larger view. For prices go to: 2012 NINJAGO .)

#9551 LEGO NINJAGO Kendo Cole – small packet booster pack. Notice that the packets are the same kind as the LEGO Collectible Minifigures.

#9552 LEGO NINJAGO Lloyd Garmadon – small packet booster pack. This guy is Lord Garmadon’s son, and the new leader of the badguys.

#9553 LEGO NINJAGO Jay ZX – small packet booster pack. Can you spot the new sai? It is pretty cool!

#9558 LEGO NINJAGO Training Set – spinner, cards and small shrine with a small spinner-arena.

#9561 LEGO NINJAGO Kai ZX – spinner and cards set. Check out the new shoulder-armors! (See Kai up close: 2012 LEGO NINJAGO Pictures.)

#9562 LEGO NINJAGO Lasha – spinner and cards set. One of the lime-green snake-guys with cobra-hood headgear and awesome snake!

#9563 LEGO NINJAGO Kendo Zane – spinner and cards set. The new Kendo helmet is wonderful!

#9564 LEGO NINJAGO Snappa – spinner and cards set. Another snake-guy, but appears to be a different species. 😕

#9566 LEGO NINJAGO – Samurai X – spinner and cards set. The mysterious Red Samurai! My favorite!

#9567 LEGO NINJAGO Fang-Suei – spinner and cards set. Another one of the weirder snake guys. 🙄

#9579 LEGO NINJAGO Starter Set – 2 spinners and cards set. One bad snake-guy and one ninja included.

I have mentioned in my first post on the 2012 LEGO NINJAGO sets that now the spinners have some kind of insert (as you see on the picture above). I’m still not sure what purpose these serve. Perhaps to stabilize the minifigures a bit more? We shall see…

So how do you like the 2012 LEGO NINJAGO spinners? Share your thoughts in the comment section below! 🙂

2012 LEGO sets: LEGO Friends more pictures!

Due to several requests on my previous posts on the 1212 LEGO Friends sets, here I will share with you some more pictures and more info on this new LEGO theme for girls. (You can see my previous posts here: 2012 LEGO Friends – Introduction, 2012 LEGO Friends – Set Pictures.) So let’s dive right into the world of little plastic girls! 😛

As I have said in my previous posts, the new LEGO Friends theme is following the story of five girls in their daily lives. The girls have different likes and hobbies; there is an animal-lover (Mia), a smart-girl (Olivia), a beautician (Emma), a singer (Andrea), and a social-girl (Stephanie). Here they are up close and personal (click on any of the pictures for a larger view):

MIA (the animal lover): not LEGO-ish I know, but she is so cute here!

OLIVIA (the smart girl): what an awesome she-garage!

EMMA (the beautician): she better watch out with that giant burger!

ANDREA (the singer): just look at that gorgeous piano!

STEPHANIE (the social girl): is that frosting on her shirt?

These five girls are the main characters in the LEGO Friends theme. Looking at the set-pictures I have noticed that each of them show up in at least two different outfits across the sets, so if you are planning to collect the girls you will have lots of fun! 😉

Also, besides the five girlfriends there are some other characters as well. A blonde named Marie works as a waitress at City Park Café (LEGO Friends Set #3061). Sarah, a cute brunette, works at the Butterfly Beauty Shop (LEGO Friends Set #3187), and Sophie appears to be the veterinarian at Heartlake Vet (LEGO Friends Set #3188). Even though they have a job, none of these young women look any older than the 5 girlfriends. A town of pre-teen girls maybe? 😀

But wait, there are in fact two adult characters: Peter & Anna, Olivia’s parents (in LEGO Friends Set #3315). They are the only parents in the whole theme, so the girls can pretty much just enjoy themselves without pesky grown-ups. It seems their (the parents’) sole purpose is providing and maintaining the big, pretty house Olivia lives in. Oh, and Peter is the only guy in the whole series – at least so far… 8)

I’m really missing some boys to gossip about and there has to be at least one annoying baby-brother! What do you think? 🙄

UPDATE: Since the first time I reported on LEGO Friends, lots have happened. Here are the updates on LEGO Friends:
