After a big wave of new sets in January, and a slower February, March is another big month for LEGO fans with lots of new releases. Let’s take a look!
The #21062 LEGO Architecture Trevi Fountain features authentic details like the facade of the Palazzo Poli and iconic statues of Oceanus in his shell chariot and Abundance and Health in minifigure form. LEGO Classic is an excellent way to boost your collection with basic LEGO bricks and they also offer an introduction to freebuilding. The #77037 LEGO Horizon Adventures Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth is based on the LEGO Horizon Adventures video game. The set includes two minifigures: Aloy and her loyal ally Varl. Aloy carries a bow and Varl carries a spear. Each weapon features upgrades that can be added to enable the fire, chill, or shock methods of attack – just like in the video game. Two buildable robot creatures are also included. Shell-Walker has poseable legs and arms, opening claws, and a detachable cargo pod and energy shield. The massive #76968 LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex we talked about a few days ago is going to be available on March 12th for the price of $249.99. This 1:12-scale T. Rex fossil skeleton comes with movable joints, including the skull, jaw, poseable arms, and tail. There’s an information plaque that can be attached to the display stand, hidden dig-site Easter eggs that include an ‘amber’ piece, and two minifigures from the 1993 Jurassic Park movie: Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant.
