One More LEGO City Space Set Review: Science Lab

As we discussed previously (see: 2024 LEGO City Space Sets Overview), LEGO City got an extensive space exploration sub-theme this year. Most of the sets were released back in January and have been very well received by LEGO fans.

This month, LEGO added one more set to the 2024 LEGO City Space collection, the #60439 LEGO City Space Science Lab.

The  #60439 LEGO City Space Science Lab features a fold-out domed laboratory that unveils a series of rooms, including a botanical tower of alien plants, a control room with 2 workstations, a sleeping quarters, and a kitchen with juice and water dispensers. The set also includes a planet exploration vehicle with wheelchair access, a food-delivery drone, 2 space crew minifigures, and an alien figure. In the video-review below, JANGBRiCKS will sho you the set in detail.

As you can see, the science lab has some nice features and is also a useful addition to the other recently released LEGO City Space sets. I like that it adds a bit more interior living/working space, and is compatible with the other sets. It could also be a good starter set if you want to try out the new collection for the relatively low price of $34.99.  It is available, along with the other new LEGO City Space sets, at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? How do you like the LEGO City Space collection? Do you have any of the sets already? And what do you think of the latest addition? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!
