BrickForge – Lots of New Custom LEGO Items!

With all the LEGO news coming out I haven’t done an update on BrickForge for some time now, which is really a shame. BrickForge is one of my favorite LEGO customizers with a huge selection of custom LEGO items in a wide variety of colors, for very reasonable prices. (You can read more about BrickForge here: BrickForge – Overview.) To get you up to date on the latest BrickForge items read on! 🙂

BrickForge LEGO Minifig Accessories for Ninjago Fans: BrickForge designers felt that Ninjago needed some more accurate weapons and accessories than the ones provided by LEGO, providing extra options for fans of the Ninjago theme. The new BrickForge items include the Ninjato, Kunai, Throwing-Star and Fighting-Claw. The Ninjato is a shorter-blade stealth weapon primarily used for stabbing. The Kunai-dagger is more of a utility device and can be used as a throwing weapon. Throwing stars are easily concealed and ideal for disorienting the enemy. The fighting-claw takes on many forms but deadly none-the-less; great for sarcastic, savage mutants as well!

BrickForge LEGO minifig Accessories for the Apocalypse: doomsday scenarios are quite popular these days in movies, books and of course the news. Do your LEGO minifigs have the tools and accessories needed to survive the worst? Check out BrickForge’s assortment of visors that attach exclusively to the BrickForge Tactical Helmet. Mix and match for the ultimate custom LEGO look! Next, load up with the Pump-Action Shotgun – wonderful for close-quarters – and the menacing Outland Ripper. Tuck away a Survival Knife and keep a Kukri Machete handy for lopping off… branches. Finally, wield the ever-popular Shredder Gun for a more-than-messy outcome.

BrickForge LEGO Minifig Accessories for 2012 Events: If you registered for BrickMagic you will be receiving a special BrickForge pack in your event goodie-bag. We are excited to announce the first of many 2012 Doomsday packs that will be given away at the various LEGO-fan shows across the country this year. BrickMagic received 175 limited edition BUGOUT kits and an authorized BrickForge vendor will be selling extras at the show so attendees can get their hands on some as well. (The BUGOUT kit features BrickForge accessories in non-standard colors making them a bit more collectible: Survival Pack, Compass, Flashlight, Walkie-Talkie, Survival Knife, Glowstick and MRE.)

BrickForge will be announcing the second Doomsday Pack – made specifically for BrickWorld – in a few days. Likewise, those attending BrickFair and BrickCon can expect other BrickForge Doomsday packs to be given away as well.

I highly recommend the custom LEGO Minifigure accessories and other items by BrickForge. The quality is excellent and the selection is vast. I also feel great knowing that I support a solid, honest small business every time I make a purchase. If you would like to see more BrickForge items check out the other articles on BrickForge, or head over to the BrickForge Online Shop, and of course if you are going to any of the LEGO-fan events this year, make sure you stop by their table to say “Hi”. 🙂

Is it just me, or is Zane’s robot eye on the wrong side of his face? Anyway, the daggers Jay has are awesome!

Yeah, the robot thing is on the wrong side. oh, and just to point this out, Ninjago is spelt wrong. admin, you spelt it ninjato instead of ninjago. just wanted to point that out. sorry if i sounded a little mean! 🙁
      😀

Lexi, Ninjato is the name of the weapon. It is spelled like that on purpose. 😉

I am too much of a purist to actually get any of these. However, they do look fantastic. The survival pack is really good enough and in the right style to be made by the LEGO Group. The Guns are well made, but like most Fan made brick weapons, a little too detailed compared with official LEGO material. My favorite bit, though, has to be the signs the protesters are holding. I love the fact that they go to the effort of not just making a great product, but show it well integrated with official LEGO parts as they would be used.

Jacob, great review! Yes, usually fan-made accessories are more detailed – but I guess that’s the whole idea; while LEGO likes to make things generic so each accessory can be used for a wide variety of purposes, fan-made items cater to fulfill the demand for more realism. It’s funny you mention the signs; those were my favorites too! 😀

I like the signs, but the survival kits were probably my favorites! I especially like the compass. And I’m probably not actually going to get any either – but you never know 😉

Yeah, the survival kits are pretty sweet. And if you happen to be in Chicago you can get them for free. 😀

Yeah I think I’m going to buy the bugout bag and the new gas masks that i saw a few days back.

            • admin May 24, 2012, 8:55 AM

Chronicler, yes that gas-mask is pretty inspired. I already have the helmet for it and I will pick up a few myself next time I order. I really like BrickForge’s items. They are excellent! 😀

If you’re in the area for Brick Magic this weekend definately stop by, it’s been great so far and we’ve seen a nice crowd. I’ll be wandering about the event and have a few colleagues manning the official LEGO company booth where we are showcasing the new Monster Fighters theme, new Ninjago and providing demos of Life of George and the Master Builder Academy. 🙂

    • admin May 20, 2012, 8:46 AM

Sigh… Would love to be there! 😀
