LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles part 2

The second episode of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles is out! We first discussed the Yoda Chronicles back in December (see: LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles), and part one came out a couple of weeks ago: LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles part 1

LEGO Star Wars Yoda Chronicles

The second episode of the Yoda Chronicles continues on the planet Umbara. The Jedi and their allies try to stop an Umbaran MHC as it gets closer to them. They try various ways – none of which works – until Yoda places a 1×1 LEGO plate in front of the MHC, and it trips over it. Magical plate it must have been. I could use a few of those. 🙄

I mentioned last time that I find this series quite disappointing, and I still do. With each episode only a minute long, no voice-over and an uninteresting story, I’m not sure where LEGO is planning to go with this. I will continue monitoring future episodes to see if they get better, but I’m starting to loose hope. They just basically look like extended commercials for the new LEGO Star Wars sets…

Anyhow, you can watch the second episode below to form your own opinion. This second episode is called LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles – Episode 1 Part 2 Umbara. Enjoy! 😛

So what do you think of the second episode of the LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles? Do you like it better than the first one? Or is it about the same? Would love to hear your thoughts, so please share them in the comment section below. 😉

Percy, sorry about that. I added the wrong code. Just fixed it, so you should have no problem watching the second part now. 😉

Thanks. Oh yeah. When are they going to say something

          Say something about what? 😕

I really don’t get what the story is right now. I was hoping that this one would make more sense, but it didn’t. Maybe it will get better as the series progresses.

Aw, yet again am i disappointed. No voices, very short, and no storyline. 🙁 thought it would be a lot better, this is really, really below my expectations. 🙁

I hear you there! the lack of voice overs is really dissapointing.

  • pythor953 January 29, 2013, 2:17 PM

This really doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere. I think the reason they’re so short is because of the fact it’s umbara part 2 which might mean you’re supposed to watch all of the umbara parts at once to get the full episode. Still isn’t getting anywhere though 🙁

Yeah, pretty much my thoughs. I don’t think I will feature any more of them in the future unless they improve. At this point there is really not much sense to them. 😕

Well, i finally found some Series 9 Minigifures today, I got one and it turned out to be the Caesar (yes, i cheated and felt him out), and my sister got the Chicken Suit Guy, the Mermaid, the Alien Trooper, two Gypsies, and a Cop. (She gave me the chicken suit guy!!!) 😀 😀

Good job finding them! I finally decided to just order them on BrickLink as my local TRU still doesn’t have them. 😕

    I have a few theories concerning this…
-the blog is probably cancelled, although originally it might be for posting Yoda’s adventures.
-these videos ARE just commercials that involves Yoda that is mainly for whetting our appetite.
-The book that is coming out will probably contain little to no connection to this, except for the fact that it has an exclusive minifigure which I bet is the mechanical-arm guy from the trailer.
-The small medias that are slowly published on the website as holocrons are also just to whet our appetites.
-So what is “The Yoda Chronicles”? I’d say it’s this year’s Star wars special, following suit the Empire strikes out and the Padawan menace. Only thing is, The main character is Yoda. (With a sweet new head mold which will appear in the Yoda Vs. Dooku set)

This is just a theory, please don’t take it seriously…

      I hope you are right

That is actually thoughtful thinking, even if only a theory. I hope you are right! 😀

Beautifully animated, and great action, but still no clear direction. Just feels like extended advertising, and not particularly effective advertising at that.
