LEGO Super Heroes minifigures for 2013

At the recent San Diego Comic Con LEGO Super Heroes fans had a chance to check out the LEGO Super Heroes minifigures scheduled to be released in 2013. And there is a lot of them! 🙂

We have a chance to look at each of the LEGO Super Heroes minifigures coming next year, thanks to our friends over at FBTB.net who participated at the event and took pictures for the LEGO community. Check them out below!

Let’s start with the LEGO Super Heroes minifigures from DC Universe; there is regular Batman, white Batman, black-winged Batman, Bane, Aquaman, Poison Ivy (we already had her in 2012), Harley, Guard, Commissioner Gordon, Scarecrow, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, the Joker, and hooded Robin. (Click images for larger view.)

For Marvel comics fans the LEGO Super Heroes minifigs will include: Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Venom, Nova, Jonah Jameson, Doctor Doom, and Beetle.

That’s a lot of LEGO Super Heroes minifigures don’t you think? Which of course also means there should be several new sets coming out next year! So how do you like the minifigures so far, and what do you think the sets will be? Share your thoughts in the comment section below! 😉

what happened? the site is going crazy!

    • admin July 25, 2012, 3:09 PM

Studless, what are you experiencing? There was a server-crash around noon and the website was reverted back a few days ago, but other than that it should be working fine. Let me know what issues you notice, other than the time-travel problem. I’m in touch with the server guys so I can let them know. They are trying to fix this as soon as they can, but unfortonately data from the past 3 days have been lost. I will rewrite the posts as soon as I can, but it will be a lot of work. 🙁

this morning the latest article was the one before this one. then around 12 it progressed to this article. and I got on now and it was fixed.

          and there were no comments.

          • admin July 25, 2012, 7:07 PM

Yeah, the comments all disappeared as the website was set back to the 22nd. I have restored the posts (fortunatley I had a back-up), but the comments are gone. 🙁
i guess we just have to talk lots to catch up. 😉

Margot, thanks for reporting that. Would you check now to see if it works?

      • Margot July 25, 2012, 5:45 PM

  • ironmhyke July 25, 2012, 4:50 PM

whoa do you think that the white batman will come in a polybag i hope not

    • admin July 25, 2012, 5:00 PM

My understanding is that these minifigs will be in regular sets. Of course you never know with LEGO. 😉

  • Ronoc the Gold Ninja July 25, 2012, 9:24 PM

I not in to superheroes but thats not cool
    ITS AWESOME

  • Tydroid Ninja of NINJAGONESS July 27, 2012, 10:16 AM

My best bet with white batman is a frost suit (like in the batman games)
White batman will probably either be polybag or come in a set with Mr. Freeze.

Digging the Dark Knight figures, and Nick Fury, but not impressed with some of the rest. Give me more X-Men!

  • arigorn1 September 4, 2012, 9:17 PM

its a good thing they made j Jonah Jameson but bane is the best and it was a good movie

  • Sam ninja of water September 6, 2012, 7:40 PM

Awsome! I am so getting Nova!

  • Håkan, Sweden September 18, 2012, 8:12 PM

The choice of minifigs for the Marvel line seems a bit unexpected. Iron Fist? Nova? Beetle? This doesn’t seem to be any characters that have been any major players in the Marvel Universe for decades. Then, apparently the line is based on an animated TV-series co-produced with Disney, IIRC, and maybe these characters are more common there.

    • admin September 18, 2012, 8:30 PM

Hakan, yes, that is correct; the Super Hero minifigs are based on the TV-series. 😉

How does Marvel NOT make a Daredevil minifigure??? DD is a classic, iconic hero that has crossed paths with and aided Spider-Man . There should be a a spidey set including Daredevil, Punisher, and Kingpin (a common enemy of Spider-Man). They could call it “Battle for New York” or something. How Nova, Beetle, and Iron Fist get made before Daredevil is bizarre and just plain sad.

    • Håkan December 19, 2012, 10:46 AM

Punisher hasn’t been an enemy of Spider-Man for decades. In later comics, they have usually teamed up together, although they’re constantly clashing due to their differing standards on morality concerning criminals.

The reason for Nova, Beetle and Iron Fist is that the main Spider-Man license, afaik, is owned by Mega Bloks, and Lego opted instead on buying the license for the new animated series
