I’m from the UK and I have been visiting around here quite a while, checking up on LEGO news, as my 6-year-old son and I are huge LEGO fans. Today I would like to share with you our story and our store. While shopping for the Collectible LEGO Minifigure series we got many duplicates, so I found that it is actually more efficient to buy full boxes of Collectible Minifigs, keep the ones we like, and sell the remainder on eBay.
This worked out great for us, but not everybody can or want to buy a whole box of minifigures and deal with trying to sell the rest. You may just want to finish your collection, buy the minifigures you like the most, or get duplicates of the same minifigure for army-building. I have experience in web-design, so I thought I could put together a website to help out other LEGO minifigure collectors and see what happens. That’s how our website, TheMinifigureStore.co.uk was born. 🙂
We have been able to offer Collectible Minifigure Series 2-10 on a regular basis. In fact, we are getting a new shipment of LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 2 that should be arriving any day now. Once they are gone they are gone though, as we cannot acquire any more factory-sealed boxes. These were proven to be extremely popular when we received our last shipment, and we expect them to start flying out again! We also offer pre-order deals on LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 11, both for the whole set and individual minifigs. I believe that this is an exclusive feature only our store offers. I also started to add other LEGO sets to our inventory; like LEGO City, and LEGO Super Heroes sets. LEGO Legends of Chima and LEGO Galaxy Squad sets will be added shortly. By expanding this way we could offer a one-stop-shop for LEGO addicts, like my son and I.
Our store has become popular very quickly and our customer base has been growing rapidly, which I believe is due to the following reasons:
- We guarantee to dispatch all orders placed for items in stock within 24 hours.
- We offer the best customer service we possibly can.
- We have “Live Stock” activated on our website so once you add an item to your basket it will display a message on the cart-page if the quantity you are trying to order is in stock or not.
- We also have a reward-point system where you get 10% of your order total back in points, that you can spend on your next purchase.

Nice store Adam, you did a really great job on the design. It’s very clean. I wish you were based in the US because your prices are very competitive, hey who knows, maybe next series I’ll pick soemthing up from your store. I noticed you have TWO Mr. Gold minifigures, how did you manage to get those?
Considering that there are tons more Mr. Golds than Comic-Con exclusives, the situation where one finds two Mr. Golds is entirely plausible.

With regards to the 2 Mr Golds we got these by opening box after box after box of the series 10 sealed boxes. From various different suppliers to make sure we got an even spread of stock.

The mini figures are to overpriced…
They actually are very competitively priced if you compare them to bricklink or ebay. I even found some really good deals for the rarity of the minifigures.

So glad theres a store like this for uk! I know bricklink is a possibility, but shipping costs too much and finding a good store with the stuff I want in UK with cheap shipping is hard…
If it says ex tax, do I have pay that as an extra?
Eg, £2.33 for a minifig, and It says £2.33 as external tax. Do I have to pay £4.66 in total?

If a minifigure was £2.33 EXCLUDING TAX and you are based in the UK VAT would be added making the total upto £2.80.
If this was to be shipped outside of the UK this would be £2.33 as VAT is only applicable to the UK.
