The official LEGO Disney Princess website is now open and comes with lots of fun and interesting info about the upcoming sets and more. We have talked about the LEGO Disney Princess line before (see: LEGO Disney Princess Sets Coming!). The uniqueness of this line is that the sets feature mini-dolls, like the ones you can find in LEGO Friends sets. Also, there are many new LEGO elements and minifig accessories that should be interesting to LEGO fans even if they are not into princesses. 🙂
At the LEGO Disney Princess website you can check out each of the new sets in detail with lots of close-up pictures, as well as a 360 animation so you can see the sets from all angles. There is also a short designer-video or behind-the-scenes video for each of the sets.
A particularly interesting section of the LEGO Disney Princess website is called How To Fairy Tale. It helps children to develop and write their own fairy tale, following six steps. If you are interested in story-writing I recommend checking this out.
There is also a Fun & Play section of the LEGO Disney Princess website, where you can print out where you can download a LEGO Disney Princess cut-out page, as well as coloring pages. There is also a little online game here called Princess Treasure Hunt, where you can choose your princess and help her collect items while avoiding obstacles.
The LEGO Disney Princess sets are already available at official LEGO stores as well as some LEGO retailers. They should be also available online shortly. In the meantime you can check out the currently available LEGO Friends sets at the Online LEGO Shop. Also there is a LEGO DUPLO Disney Princess line available for little kids. 😀
So if you have a couple of minutes check out the new LEGO Disney Princess website, and let me know what you think! 😉

My sister got two of the sets for Christmas. I did go to the minisite, but didn’t spend much time there. Oh, and if nobody else wants too, I’m reviewing the LEGO Movie series.
Carbo, I’m reviwing most of The LEGO Movie sets myself, and William will do the rest. However if you would like to review the sets from a different perspective than just a basic review, you are welcome to write! My first review will be published tomorrow as that’s the official release date. You can see how I wrote it and what I focused on, and if you have a different angle you can go ahead and write it. 😉
no thanks. sorry but not my thing. 🙁
Destructoid available in EU!!!! And the storybuilder is pretty….bad. If I made a DP story, all of them would get eaten by Smaug! 😀
Better than Friends though
I absolutely love this line, can’t wait to see any future sets, and can’t wait to get the two Little Mermaid sets.
I really hope my little sister doesn’t find out about these. =P She is so into princesses that you can’t walk into Target and go anywhere near the princesses toys or she will not want to leave. =P
I am budding writer and I recommend the Fairy Tale section to any 5-10 year-old out there who wants to start writing a light, if somewhat cliched story.
That came out a bit more snarky and sarcastic than I intended.
There is also a short designer-video or behind-the-scenes video for each of the sets.
