You’re looking out for the arrival of The Batman! But how will he appear – and what will he be driving? The fearsome Tumbler or the slick 1960s Batmobile? Or perhaps… something never seen before that is waiting to be built!
LEGO BATMOBILE CHALLENGE – YOUR MISSION
That’s right: Bruce Wayne – er, Batman – is looking for his next ride and challenging YOU to design it! He has only one requirement: it must pay homage to more than 80 years of Batman lore and arguably the most iconic fantasy vehicle ever – and oh yeah, it must be built using only LEGO bricks.
BUILD THE NEXT VEHICLE IN THE BATMOBILE LEGACY
In celebration of the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game and in honor of the 20th anniversary of LEGO DC Batman, the LEGO Ideas team invites you inside the Batcave. As the Batmobile evolved through the decades, with each version reflecting that era’s unique identity, one aspect remains true: this vehicle represents the pinnacle of crime-fighting machinery.
Grab every black brick in your armory – alternative hues, including, of course, very, very dark grey, are also welcome if you are low on the Caped Crusader’s signature shade – and build your take on the next Batmobile.
- Will you fill it with gadgets that impress even Lucious Fox?
- Will you focus on flair and make Commissioner Gordon jealous?
- Or make it so frightening that even Alfred will consider adding extra locks to Wayne Manor?

LEGO BATMOBILE CHALLENGE – PRIZES
Bruce Wayne is known for being generous, and the reward for this challenge is nothing short of that. If you are selected by his trusted Review Board as one of the 5 grand prize selections, you will receive a digital code for the Deluxe Edition of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on the gaming platform of your choice. You will also have your Batmobile showcased in the game, together with the four other selections, on a custom-made billboard placed in Gotham City. In addition, you’ll also receive these four LEGO DC Batman sets that each have a direct connection to the new game: the #76330 LEGO DC Batman: Batman Logo, the #76331 LEGO DC Batman: Batman v Superman Batmobile, the #76332 LEGO DC Batman: The Batman Batmobile, and #76333 LEGO DC Batman: Batman & Robin Batmobile.
