Today is the day LEGO Ninjago fans have been waiting for! Ninjago Season 3 is starting up tonight on Cartoon Network with a brand new episode titled LEGO Ninjago Episode 27: The Surge. Make sure you don’t miss it! 🙂
As we have seen in the previous Ninjago Repooted trailers and discussed earlier (see the LEGO Ninjago section) our ninja friends get brand new weapons called Elemental Techno-Blades, as well as new suits and vehicles. And as you probably remember from the end of Ninjago Season 2, Garmadon has redeemed himself and is now a good guy. And of course there are also new enemies to fight; the evil Nindroids who are created by the Digital Overlord and serve as his minions…

Technically it’s season 4 but whatever. By the way, the summer set, Battle of Ninjago City, looks pretty cool, but I’m not sure if it’s worth $119.99, as it only comes with one exclusive figure, the Overlord. I’m sure lots of people will get it, but I prefer having the Overlord in his giant dragon mode so I’ll probably just buy the Mech-Dragon instead. 😀
The Pilot Episodes are not considered part of the seasons, so it is Season 3, although Cartoon Network actually list it as Season 2, so yeah, whatever. 🙄
Technically, one could consider the first 4 about Kai as Season 1, because season 2 is Rise of the Snakes and about the green ninja. But that would mean that ep.s 1-26 plus all rebooted episodes are also Rise of the Snakes, which isn’t true, since Rebooted is Rebooted, not about snakes.
So season 1 is 1-4 with Red background, season 2 is 1-26 w/ green background, and season 3 is 27-on w/ blue background. But I could be babbling, since I watched all Ninjago episodes on youtube-UNTIL TONIGHT!! 😀
Yeah, we can look at it that way too. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter as long as they continue the episodes! 😀
What does the overlord look like? I haven’t seen pics yet, plus who else is in that set? I have been waiting for this and I can’t wait!!!
I don’t know for sure what the overlord looks like. But I was looking for the summer set images and I found a pic of the Battle for ninjago City!! It doesn’t really look like much, more like Garmadon’s Monastery (see Ep. 28 for pic). There’s an ice glider, w/ Zane Damage and his T-blade, a nindroid bug, 3 nindroids, Lloyd, Samurai X, wait. . .JAY! his T-Blade, and Overlord. Looks like Overborg almost.
The Overlord is a black/purple colored minifigure with a slope piece as legs, both the torso and the legs have gold printing with a gold shoulderpiece. The head has some crown like helmet, while the minifigure is on a three leg walker with black and gold. And it has a projectile launcher?
Where did you see that? The description sounds realistic 😕
I think the projectile launcher may be a spring-loaded shooter from Star Wars.

OK, I know this is seriously off-topic, since Ninjago is the theme 🙂 , but I was browsing for Lego set pictures from the recent Toy Fairs, and I found pictures for almost all of the summer Star Wars sets. The Phantom, the Ghost, B-wing, Cantina, and Jedi Scout Fighter. If anyone is interested, google “pictures of 2014 Lego summer star wars sets” they should all be there. The Cantina is at the bottom 😉 .
Wow! That’s neat. I have the old Mos Eisley Cantina set although I traded the Dewback. 🙁 Oh well. I was five though so maybe I should cut myself some slack. Hey, I got two Gungan Kaadus in return though. Still waiting for a new version of those to be released.
I’m also dying to see some LOTR set pics. My guess is they’ll be released late April to early May, but if it’s earlier than that there’s no disapproval from me. Can’t wait for Smaug to come out. And while I’m still rambling about LOTR, I might as well add this: I just got the Lord of the Rings LEGO video game for $7.99 off Amazon! It’s pretty cool.

When I first heard about the new Ninjago season, it seemed like it would be ages untill the date arrives. Now it’s unbelievably here!

Yep, with these I can for sure say that the TLM Police Dropship comes with Batman and Green ninja, and Emmet’s Mech comes with Angry kitty and 2 robo-skeletons.
I think that in one of my previous comments I said there was 8 minifies w/ the Battle for Ninjago city, well there could be 7 only: 2 nindroids, overlord, Lloyd, Samurai X, Jay, and Zane.

To those who found the Episodes THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I have been looking and gave up thinking I would not be able to watch ninjago since my cable was out, but then I come on here and ‘boop’ found episodes I could watch. again, THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO FOUND THEM!!!! I can finally be at peace.
The episodes are pretty good so far, but I think things happened a little too fast. Like the Ninja should have received the weapons in ep. 1 and learn how to use them in ep. 2.

I’ve heard from some people it is to appeal to the girl viewers, which i guess is understandable, but if we girls liked it originally, you don’t need to try and add something! I personally agree with you guys on this one, I would prefer it without the “drama.” We’ve got enough of that with all the other TV shows.
I don’t see how anyone could like it… Misako was bad enough, but this is just silly.
I find it kind of annoying that anyone would assume that there has to be stuff like that in a show to appeal to girls… come on!
It is annoying enough in adult movies (unless it is a romantic one), and in a kids’ show it borders inappropriate. It basically gives the message that girls existence should be centered around boys. Nya could have easily stayed as the member of the team, the sister of Kai, and a heroic character in her own right – with a nack for tinkering with machines. The occasional antics between her and Jay were funny, but now that she is also involved with Cole it is starting to go over the top as a sub-plot. Having a complicated romantic life is not a necessity for being an awesome girl. 😛
Pretty much exactly my opinion. And not just that, but like she can’t even think about anything else…
Though I did find her response to Cole’s “So how are our kids” funny, but more in it’s utter nonsense than anything else!
I would rather she have simply played it out as a character by herself, but getting Jay involved was tolerable. Beyond that, it’s almost like I would rather not watch it, and keep the characters the way they are!

one of my favorite parts in the second episode is that when the ninja say “we actually are supposed to be stealthy”. this is a really good point because in most Ninjago episodes they are not stealthy at all.

Very excited to see that the ninja are back in action! I enjoyed these first two episodes and I hope that the next ones will be just as good! By the way, the large summer set, the Battle of Ninjago, is Garmadon’s Dojo! I am kind of annoyed about the whole love triangle thing as it seems a bit late in the series for Lego to do something like that. Either way, I hope that Ninjago has a great fourth season! 🙂

last Tuesday we got sleet for about 30 seconds. It was hilarious because it was like mother nature was out to get us because we were painting a giant tarp for indoor drumline, and it started raining. It stopped, and just as we were about to get started, it started sleeting. Then it rained again. 😆
honestly, it frustrated me about the snow because we got so little. Now, you may be thinking, if you got so little, why was the school closed for 2 days? That it why i am so frustrated. 20 minutes east of us, they got a whole bunch of snow! WE MISSED THE SNOW BY 20 MINUTES!!!!! (rage face goes here)

For once, I was able to watch the episodes on TV, which was really nice. They weren’t too bad but I don’t like the whole Cole-Jay-Nya thing…
There were several good parts though… Lloyd’s fight with Garmadon was great! Though, from a no weapons standpoint, I don’t see the difference between hitting someone yourself and letting them slam against a post…
Is Ninjago going to be airing every week now, or was that just a special?
LOL about those martial arts techniques! I guess they would be considered soft-style martial art, but as long as it is martial arts someone is going to get hurt. Otherwise Garmadon would have to change careers and become a councelor or negotiator. 😉
