Happy Halloween for all of our readers, subscribers and contributors! We have talked about some fun LEGO Halloween decorations and displays a couple of days ago (see: Spookify Your LEGO Sets for Halloween!), and today I would like to share with you one more LEGO Halloween model that you could build yourself for some additional Halloween fun. 🙂
This LEGO Halloween Bot (more specifically – and appropriately – named the LEGO Pumpkinbot) is by Chris Maddison. It is a transforming model from a cute little pumpkin, to an even cuter bot. Chris was kind enough to also share the instructions, so you can build your own LEGO Pumpkinbot. If you find the picture here too small, you can visit Chris Maddison’s flickr gallery for a larger version of the instructions.
The LEGO pumpkin can be seamlessly transformed into the LEGO bot without having to take apart the model, except for the radar-dish on top. The radar-dish assembly sits loosely on top in pumpkin-mode, and is connected to the model in bot-mode. If you don’t have all the LEGO elements in the right colors, just use the colors that you have. It is perfectly all-right to make your pumpkin yellow, purple, blue, or even rainbow colored!
I hope this little LEGO model adds some extra fun to your Halloween! And if you are looking for more LEGO ideas and models to build for the holidays (including other LEGO pumpkins), see the links at the end of this post. So what do you think? How do you like the LEGO Pumpkinbot? Are you making something from LEGO for this Halloween? Feel free to share in the comment section below! Happy Halloween! 😉

Thats cool I have to build that
Yeah, it’s pretty sweet! 😛
Ha-ha! That’s great! I’m going to build this later today!
This is so cool! I wish I had the pieces to build it… 🙁
Wow, same post, same time =P
This looks super-cool! 😀 I wish I could build it, I don’t have the right pieces, not the wrong colour…
LOL, you and ninja5 said almost the same thing! 😀
And me and you said the same thing! 😛
Bizarre! Does this has to do with Halloween? Should I be scared? 😈
That face scares me… Also, I didn’t do this on purpose! It does have something to do with Halloween 😯 . Currently, I scared a bunch Halloween-ers by standing up and looking through the window. What they saw was the creepy outline of a figure… 🙄
LOL! Scccaaarrryyy! I guess I would also be startled if a yellow-faced, bald-headed giant minifig would be waving at me from a window! 🙄
You just described my worst nigthmare. Lol
Very cool. I need to get the bricks and make these.
Nice! Great design. I’d like to build it, but I don’t have enough of those slope pieces to make one, even in multicolor. All the other pieces I don’t have I can steal from my brother. 😐
Off-topic, but I think I’m through with Halloween. The whole costumes thing is too much fuss for me. Between my mom, my essay, and my lack of ideas, I never got to finish my costume. Now I have to go out, but I’m not going in costume. No candy for me, but I’ve got braces, so I guess it doesn’t matter. 🙁 😕
Hey, just wrap some toilet paper around your head and hope it doesn’t rain :P.
Toilet paper is for tricking!
Poor you… My brothers got a whole truck-load of sweets (a.k.a two huge buckets). We’ll enjoy finishing them off today 🙂
Well, my brothers got a lot of candy too, but my basket was still around, and one of my brothers gave all the candy that he put into my basket to me. Very nice of him! 😀 You should try to limit the amount of candy you eat per day, maybe two or three pieces. That way you can eat candy on Christmas! 🙂
BTW, my costume was going to be the Witch-king (in RotK attire), but I couldn’t finish the helmet. Nor did I have any black robes. 😕
Recently I was at the walmart in my home town and I saw A Star Wars set I had never heard of it was called the phantom and had two mini figures named Ezra and chopper ( chopper was a droid ) It’s just strange I guess because I had no idea they made sets based on star wars rebels my problem was that I wanted to buy so badly but being a long time star wars fan I can’t allow myself to buy it because of how awful the show was but the ship is so cool and I just dont want to support Star Wars rebels in any way.
Yeah, personally I don’t like the show either 🙄 . Luckily in 2016 the next episode of Star Wars is coming out 😀 😈
Dec 18, 2015, according to Wikipedia. On my birthday. Nice!
(I’m not a Star Wars fanatic, though…)
Lucky! Or are you…. I personally can’t believe that Ep. 7 will be a good movie. Waltless Disney and SW don’t mix. They even had to stick their little name all of the 2015 SW set boxes. 😡 Not to be at all offensive to fans, though.
With my luck it will turn out to be a musical all about jarjarbinks. (I don’t hate jar jar it’s just that he’s incredibly annoying)
I can’t believe I’m down in my luck I don’t have the pieces to build it
If the Pumpkin-bot existed in real life…
LOL! I’m afraid to follow that train of thought!
Okay, so I built one! Pumpkinbot for the win!
I would like to know what the pieces on the out side of the pumpkin bot is called. I am trying to get the pieces of of Lego pick a brick.
Komodo, I just checked and that element is out of stock. I will give you the Element ID though, in case they list it again. It is: 4169355. And of course you can also get it from BrickLink. Lots of people selling the piece in orange and it only costs a few pennies: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30602
