If you are a Marvel Super Heroes fan you are probably aware that the Avengers: Age of Ultron film’s trailer leaked a couple of weeks ago. Marvel didn’t miss a beat and instead of fighting the leak like some less progressive companies, they released the full trailer on their own YouTube channel. The trailer is so awesome that Marvel fans can hardly wait until the film’s release scheduled forย May 1st of next year. ๐
Below is Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer in its full glory. If you are not familiar with the story, here is the plotline in brief: With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth. It is up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. In the trailer you can get your first look at Ultron trying to tear apart Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the rest of the world. And I really like the use of the song “I’ve Got No Strings” from the original Pinocchio animated film – this version is so intense, so haunting!
And of course for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes fans the release of the movie means more LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets! We don’t have any exact titles for the upcoming sets, or all the details on which characters will be included in minifigure form, but the above trailer and the preliminary set names should give you a good idea. Prices are only available in Euros at this point, but at least they allow us to see what size sets we should expect.
- #76029 LEGO Super Heroes Avengers Iron Man – Price: 14.99 EUR
- #76030 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Offroader (this set shouldย include Thor) – Price: 19.99 EUR
- #76031 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Hulk (this set should include Scarlet Witch) – Price: 34.99 EUR
- #76032 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Space Ship (this set should include Captain America) – Price: 79.99 EUR
- #76038 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Tower – Price: 69.99 EUR

And as we have discussed before (see: 2015 LEGO Exclusive Sets Rumors…), there is also a possibility of a large LEGO Ultimate Collector Series set with the LEGO Avengers Helicarrier. While the above sets are scheduled for release with the movie (so we should probably see them sometime in April), the LEGO Helicarrier is rumored to be released in the summer. And while we are waiting, you can check out the currently available LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How do you like the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer? And what do you think of the upcoming LEGO sets? Which characters do you think LEGO should definitely include? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! ๐

First! I might get some of these, they sound cool. Also, the How It Should Have Ended for this teaser is hilarious!
Yeah I saw that too! What they said about Pinocchio cracked me up.
Epic totally going to buy all! When are they going to release? Because I am making a Helicarrier for a contest in Feb. and I could use the figs!
It’s in the article. ๐
No when do the sets release? Because typically they release before the movie.
It really depends on the license agreement. For example the Lone Ranger sets were not allowed to be released until the movie came out. Other times it could be a month or so before the movie. Also, there is a difference between the official release date and the street release. Many times retailers (especially TRU and Wal-Mart) will list sets a couple of weeks or even a month before the official release. So there is no sharp “this is when the sets are going to be available” date. In case of the Avengers sets I’m guessting maybe mid-March when we will start to see them at some retailers. The Helicarrier though is supposed to be a summer set, so I’m guessing June or July.
YES, YES! ahem. So is there just going to be Avengers sets in the upcoming wave that will be released in early December? Or is there going to be any more MARVEL? Any Guardians of the Galaxy sets? Any X-men?
I don’t know of any sets that will be released in early December. These are scheduled for 2015 spring to tie in with the movie release.
Guardians is probably over…
Yeah…. And they never made any Winter Soldier sets, either. But maybe the Helicarrier will make up for that. ๐
A Bucky as the Winter Soldier minifigure would have looked so cool! ๐
tell me about it strider, I’d buy that minifigure right when it was released. it would have been cool… ๐
yeah, its probably over. Do you guys think they will ever release sets that are tied with the TV show Agents of Shield?
That’s a good question. I would say that in general LEGO tends to go for movies because it gives the sets larger exposure and a larger audience who will likely buy them. They usually only go for TV show sets when they have nothing else left to work with. Like you are currently seeing with Star Wars.
So I would say that as long as Super Heroes movies are coming out LEGO is going to produce sets for those. However if there is a year or something when no movies are released, they may fall back to TV shows. That would be my guess. ๐
Sweeeeet! Finally we get the names of these! ๐ I don’t understand, though, when the name is “Iron Man” or “The Hulk,” does that mean it’s a constraction figure, or a set containing and all about that minifig? ๐ Really looking forward to seeing the Avengers’ Tower and Avengers’ Fortress. Too bad the entire story line is a bit lousy. I can’t wait for Avengers 3, when there’s actually more Avengers.
Also, CMF Series 13 list: http://brickset.com/article/12904/cmf-series-13-list . Seems like a lot of repeats, but a few good ones. But a Lady Cyclops?! There’s only one Cyclops, and LEGO already made him. ๐
I think the names of the sets where just guesses or close to the name of the sets.
Yes, the set names are roughly translated from German, so there could be some mis-understandings.
That teaser is awesome! Or is it the trailer? Anywho hey Admin did you get the post i sent you? And if I subscribe to comments feed is it just on this post, or every one?

You do martial arts too? I’m a Brown Sn. three more belts till Black!
Yeah, I’m a one black stripe, so have two more tests still black-belt. ๐
Hey I do Taekwondo! Right now I’m a Red belt! one more till Black! ๐
Awesome! I guess that means that your avatar is very appropriate! ๐
yes, yes it is. ๐ Hey, when the sets come out can you put them on here? that would be… AWESOME! ๐
Yeah, of course! ๐
I cant’t wait for these! The movie also looks really good, but in the trailer, I don’t really like the sort of sad music. It really takes away from the fight scenes in the trailer. I also hope that LEGO makes Ant-man and Fantastic Four sets next year. And I know the Fantastic Four would be based off of their classic look, but I prefer them that way.
Carbo, the music is only for the trailer. I personally like it as for me it makes the whole thing more dramatic, but I can understand your perspective as well. The good thing is that the movie looks awesome! ๐
Yeah Fantastic Four and ant-man! Are they doing that next year? I also liked the Music, I just found it weird that there was Pinocchio music. it was funny at the same time it was dramatic.
they cannot do any more fantastic four because chris evans is playing the role of captain america
The song in the trailer is from Pinocchio “I’ve Got No Strings” at a much slower tempo.
who is the girl who plays scarlet witch
will they be making a hulkbuster set or quicksilver minifigure?
