The second episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales aired just a few days ago. As you may remember from our previous discussions (see links at the end of this post), LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is a new Disney XD animated show with five 22-minute episodes that re-tell the Star Wars saga in chronological order from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace up through Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The story is through the eyes of C-3PO and R2-D2, with the characteristic playful humor that we expect from LEGO Star Wars films. You can watch the full first episode here: LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales – Episode 1, and the second episode is below. 🙂
The second episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is titled “Crisis on Coruscant”. It starts out like this: “R2-D2 has been taken by a mysterious villain in a starship stolen from the Rebel camp on Endor. Desparate to rescue his friend, C-3PO searches for R2-D2 with the aid of the ship’s owner, Admiral Ackbar.” While the search is going on, C-3PO has the chance to continue telling the story of Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith to anyone who listens….
That was another great episode, isn’t it? LEGO humorous take on such a heavy episode is refreshing. There is no word yet when the next episode will air, but you can be rest assured we will talk about it when the information becomes available. In the meantime you can also check out the currently available LEGO Star Wars sets at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How did you like the second episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales? And what do you think of the new adventures of C-3PO and R2-D2? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
