The official release date for the #10259 LEGO Winter Village Station is October 1st, with early access to LEGO VIP members on September 14th. Pricing is as follows: US $79.99 – CA $99.99 – DE 69.99€ – UK £74.99 – DK 649.00 DKK (Euro pricing varies by country). You will be able to find it at official LEGO stores and under the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.

As you can see, #10259 LEGO Winter Village Station, is really meant to be an add-on set for the #10254 LEGO Creator Holiday Train from last year. It even includes a few straight tracks to add to the curved track pieces that come with the train. The little station and old style bus also fits in perfectly with the previous LEGO Winter Village buildings and vehicles.

Please note that both the #10254 LEGO Creator Holiday Train (from 2016) and the #10249 LEGO Creator Winter Toy Shop (from 2015) are currently available, although we could probably expect some shortages/backorders when the #10259 LEGO Winter Village Station gets released. People will try to complete their LEGO Winter Village collection before the holidays, and the sets are also excellent gift items for Christmas. You can find both previous sets under the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? How do you like the LEGO Winter Village Station? Do you collect the LEGO Winter Village sets? Are you planning to add the train station? Feel free to share in the comment section below! 😉

The station is pretty simple, but I love that bus! 😀

    • rainey August 24, 2017, 9:45 AM

The bus really is killer! It’s the best vehicle they’ve done since the Post Office delivery truck and they’ll be sensational tooling along the WV roads together.

Oh, yes! That little post office truck is super sweet! 😀

  • hushpuppy August 23, 2017, 10:58 AM

Lovely! And a clever way for Lego to make you buy the train!

    • admin August 23, 2017, 4:57 PM

      Yes, very clever! 😀

The train is still on sale?…

        • admin August 23, 2017, 5:08 PM

Yes, the Winter Village sets are available for at least a couple of years after their initial release. So the train should definitely be around for this holiday season, and probably next year too. 🙂

I’m glad they have done this. It will be a great addition to the train! The bus is great too! Can’t wait to add it to our Winter Village.

Cute and I’ll buy it for the bus, the track crossing and the printed pieces but I’m awfully glad I got Miro Dudas’ station instead.

Nevertheless, this building — minus the platform and the exterior waiting bench will still make an attractive village addition as a shop. Perhaps it will be a corner grocery store.

Meanwhile, can’t wait to see what Miro comes up with for this year!!!

I get so excited every year at just the thought of the village coming out and growing each year!

I should add that I applaud Lego for not getting too carried away and keeping these things affordable. I’d like to think that families at many income levels can enjoy this wonderful tradition.

And then, of course, those of us who are Winter Village afflicted can go on to add to them and enhance them in all sorts of creative ways.

I look forward to a survey of what wonderful things other people are doing with their villages as the holiday approaches.

That’s a really good point. With sets like these it definitely makes sense to remain in the affordable category. Especially around Christmas, when people are already stretched financially.

        • Håkan August 24, 2017, 6:53 AM

At least if you’re middle class, depending on priorities…

          It’s still ‘rather’ expensive…

    • admin August 23, 2017, 4:56 PM

Miro’s train station is absolutely lovely! You can definitely put the two sets together. Just make the whole thing into a coffee shop, and also sell hot chocolate! I think this year Miro was planning to release a whine cellar, or something like that. I just vaguely remember. Anyway, I will get in touch with him before the holidays to see what he is working on. 🙂

      • rainey August 23, 2017, 6:47 PM

        YAY!!! Can’t wait to see!

    • Alison August 24, 2017, 6:08 PM

It’s a great idea rainey to turn this one into a grocery ‘corner’ store! I too purchased Miro’s train station and wish to extend and keep it as the station and use this one as something else. I really like the look of this new building but it doesn’t suit just any type of store. It will definitely suit a corner store though!

The bus is absolutely gorgeous. I really like the rooflines and colours of the new station, and the crossing boom gates are nicely built too. I was hoping for a new winter torso and scarf or hat with pom pom. Maybe – hopefully – we will get a new minifigure like that with one of the limited edition giveaway sets that haven’t been revealed yet. That’s if they are vignette style. The new printed news paper, tickets and clocks are very much appreciated.

      • admin August 24, 2017, 9:44 PM

Oh! I would love a hat with pompom too! 😀

  • Maya August 23, 2017, 12:41 PM

I like this station and the bus is darling, but it seems a little high priced compared to some of the other winter village sets. I was expecting it to be more of a $60-$70 price tag rather than $80.

    • admin August 23, 2017, 4:53 PM

The set does look a little smallish, but the piece-count does match the price. There will be some Double VIP Point periods, so probably it’s best to wait to pick it up at that time to get a bit of savings. 🙂
