LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures has been entertaining LEGO and Star Wars fans in the past couple of years with an original storyline and lots of LEGO humor. So far, there has been two seasons worth of episodes, both originally airing on Disney XD. Season 1 of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures was released on DVD at the end of 2016, and now Season 2 is available on DVD as well. Below are the details. 🙂
Although we have talked about Season 1 of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures previously (see links at the end of this post), for the sake of completeness, and for your convenience, I will include the summary of the plot here again, as well as the original trailer. The adventure begins after the events of “The Empire Strikes Back” and before “Return of The Jedi”, and follows a family of scavengers who build and sell starships from battle debris strewn throughout the galaxy. When their youngest discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact — the Kyber Saber — his world is turned upside down, and he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. The Freemakers explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters and learn the meaning of family. The LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures – Season 1 DVD includes all 13 episodes of the first season. If you don’t have it already, you can get it on Amazon: THE FREEMAKER ADVENTURES – SEASON 1
Season 2 of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures continues from where the first season left of. Here is the plot, and below is the trailer: The Freemaker family – Rowan, Kordi and Zander – has found a new home with the rebel fleet. But working with the Rebels in their fight to bring down the Empire brings them face-to-face with brutal Imperial forces, desperate Hutts, conniving sith Lords and the Emperor’s latest plaything, M-OC. The LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures – Season 2 DVD includes all 13 episodes of the second season, and it is now available at various retailers and also on Amazon: THE FREEMAKER ADVENTURES – SEASON 2
LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is solid, high quality, enjoyable, clean fun for the whole family. And, if you like LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, there are other LEGO Star Wars story expansions that are equally fun and originally aired as a TV show and now available on Amazon in DVD format. The freemaker adventures series was a lot of fun to watch. I wish I got the Lego sets that went with it but, it was kinda of a balancing act of what sets to get at the time . Sadly , Freemakers lost in my hunt for other sets( or maybe I lost by not getting them.) I love the fact that you can use the characters anytime and anywhere in the Star Wars universe.
The Freemaker sets were a great idea, but they weren’t the best. You could probably whip up something similar or better on your own. The minifigs are great though, and yeah, you are right, you can fit them anywhere in the SW universe. 🙂
Yeah, seems there have only been four sets produced so far…
They look pretty decent on pictures, although I have yet to see how they work in practice.

Love the Freemakers!!! Lego should continue with it and give us more Freemaker sets!!
They really should advertise this more. A great series that both kids and grownups can enjoy.
