Now that we are half way thorough the month of April, there are new LEGO sets and promotions I wanted to make sure you know about. Some of these we discussed at the beginning of the month (see: April 2018 – New LEGO Sets & Promotions), while others are new. So, let’s take a look. 🙂
➡ FREE LEGO STAR WARS DARTH VADER POD: From now until May 3rd, you will get a #5005376 LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $60 or more. This is a highly desirable set in the LEGO Collectible Pods series, so make sure you don’t miss out. The promotion is available at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop.
➡ LEGO STAR WARS SOLO SETS NOW AVAILABLE: The new LEGO Star Wars sets related to the Solo: A Star Wars Story film are now available! This includes the #75207 LEGO Star Wars Imperial Patrol Battle Pack, the #75209 LEGO Star Wars Han Solo’s Landspeeder, the #75210 LEGO Star Wars Moloch Landspeeder, the #75211 LEGO Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter, and the #75212 LEGO Star Wars Kessel Run Millennium Falcon. Another new set is the #75208 LEGO Star Wars Yoda’s Hut. In addition, we also get three new large buildable figures: the #75535 LEGO Star Wars Han Solo, the #75536 LEGO Star Wars Range Trooper, and the #75537 LEGO Star Wars Darth Maul. You can find them all under the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.
➡ LEGO JURASSIC WORLD SETS NOW AVAILABLE: The new LEGO Jurassic World sets became available today! This includes the #75926 LEGO Jurassic World Pteranodon Chase, the #75927 LEGO Jurassic World Stygimoloch Breakout, #75928 LEGO Jurassic World Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit, #75929 LEGO Jurassic World Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape, #75930 LEGO Jurassic World Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate, #75931 LEGO Jurassic World Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack, #75932 LEGO Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase, and #75933 LEGO Jurassic World T. Rex Transport. In addition, there are also several sets for younger kids in the LEGO Juniors and LEGO DUPLO line related to Jurassic World. You can find them all under the LEGO Jurassic World section of the Online LEGO Shop.
➡ FREE LEGO MINIFIGURE FACTORY: As we discussed a couple of days ago, during the first half of April the freebie was the exclusive #5005358 LEGO Minifigure Factory with purchases of $75 or more. This offer was scheduled to run April 1-15 according to the April LEGO Store Calendar, however it seems that LEGO extended it until the 20th, based on the information posted on their website. So, for the next few days you can get both April freebies at the same time at the Online LEGO Shop.
Besides the brand new LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Jurassic World sets, remember that four new characters have been added to the LEGO BrickHeadz collection: #41604 LEGO BrickHeadz Iron Man MK50, #41605 LEGO BrickHeadz Thanos, #41606 LEGO BrickHeadz Star-Lord, and #41507 LEGO BrickHeadz Gamora. And there is also the new #41597 LEGO BrickHeadz Go Brick Me set for building your own LEGO BrickHeadz characters. And remember that the #21314 LEGO Ideas TRON: Legacy set is also available. We have discussed this set in detail here: LEGO Ideas TRON: Legacy Set Review. SHOP BRICKHEADZ HERE & SHOP TRON HERE

I can’t decide. There are so many great sets out there. I’m still debating on whether or not to continue on getting the Marvel sets or go to Jurassic park sets. Then there’s the Solo sets. What happens to me is I get confused and go back to city or ( right now ) NINJAGO season 8 series sets. I think I’ll save the Solo sets for May 4th. Too many choices, I wish Lego made at least one or two sets that are horrible . So I can have an easier choice to make. ( that’s not going to happen) .
Thanks for great write-up as always! There is a typo: Yoda’s Hut is 75208 not 65208. Also, it seems the Pod promo DOES require Star Wars items. I didn’t get it to add until I had $60 in Star Wars even though I had the Tron set in my cart also — that one didn’t apply. And, bummer, no minifig factory set I don’t think — at least I couldn’t get it to add.
Thank you, Pete. I corrected the set number for Yoda’s Hut. And it seems that you are right, the pod does require to purchase LEGO Star Wars sets, so I corrected that section as well. When LEGO first mentioned this promotion they did not specify it was for SW purchases only. Fortunately, the minimum amount is not too high to get it. As far as the minifig factory set, I have been hearing that LEGO may have run out, but it is still available in some stores. 🙂
The Jurassic sets look better than I expected and better than the last ones they made. And those baby dinos are irresistible! 😀
There was some “Baby Dino Playpen” or something similar in a polybag. Could be interesting if it isn’t too expensive.
Yeah, I remember seeing that little set, but I’m not sure how or where it is going to be available. Probably a retailer exclusive, or something.
The dinos! I want all the dinos!!!!
I’m going to use the Ewok Village as a base for the Jurassic World sets . I think it can work. I guess those poor Ewoks are going to have to move out or become raptor food. Lol! Of course if you think about it . Kylo Ren managed to get Darth Vader’s helmet. So, sadly I think the Ewoks are already done for.
Ahhh… poor Ewoks! 🙁
Serves them right!

LOL! But they are so cute! 😈
Ewoks! Noo… As long as they stop singing the “Yub Nub song” I’m OK with that. Dinosaurs need to eat too! Anyway, yes, the new Jurassic sets look very good. Glad they brought this series back.
I want to see the movie before deciding on the Solo sets. The Jurassic sets do look good though.
The Vader pod is very cool. I hope I can get it. The Kessel Run Falcon looks cool too.
