As we discussed previously (see: LEGO at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con), there were three exclusive sets available for purchase; the #75512 LEGO Star Wars Solo Millennium Falcon Cockpit, the #75996 LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Aquaman and Storm set, and the #75997 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man and the Wasp set. All three sets are just around 200 pieces, and sold at SDCC for $40 each in limited quantities. If you like unique collectibles, the sets are available on eBay for around a $100 each. However, if you don’t care for the exclusive packaging and just want to build the models from your own LEGO pieces, LEGO recently released the instructions for all three sets. 🙂
➡ #75512 LEGO STAR WARS MILLENNIUM FALCON COCKPIT: This set includes 203 pieces and two minifigures; Han Solo, and Chewbacca. It features a very nicely detailed cockpit for the Millennium Falcon, with lots of printed console pieces, and four really well designed brick-built seats. None of the pieces are unique to the set, and most of them are readily available. You can download the PDF building instructions here: #75512 LEGO INSTRUCTIONS, and if you prefer to buy the original set, it is available on eBay here: #75512 LEGO SDCC EXCLUSIVE ON EBAY
➡ #75996 LEGO DC SUPER HEROES AQUAMAN AND STORM: This set includes 197 pieces and one minifigure; Aquaman. It features several smaller sub-assemblies with commonly available parts, so it should be easy to put together. You can download the PDF building instructions here: #75996 LEGO INSTRUCTONS, and if you prefer to buy the original set, it is available on eBay here: #75996 LEGO SDCC EXCLUSIVE ON EBAY
➡ #75997 LEGO MARVEL ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: This set includes 218 pieces and one minifigure; The Wasp. The brick-built Ant-Man bust looks really cool, and you should be able to build it easily as it does not require any special pieces. You can download the PDF building instructions here: #75997 LEGO INSTRUCTIONS, and if you prefer to buy the original set, it is available on eBay here: #75997 LEGO SDCC EXCLUSIVE ON EBAY
All three sets offer some interesting designs and building techniques we can learn from, like the awesome interior of the Falcon’s cockpit, and the brick-built bust in the Ant-Man set. It’s nice to see that none of the minifigs and pieces are exclusive, so even those of us who couldn’t participate in SDCC could build the models. And, if you do want to get the original sets, you can always pick them up on eBay.
I should also mention that the 2018 SDCC exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Sheriff Deadpool, and LEGO DC Super Heroes Black Lightning minifigures are also available on eBay. They go for around $150-$300 each, so are more suitable for die-hard collectors. There are also some other SDCC exclusives like posters, giveaways, etc. You can find them all on eBay either as Buy-It-Now listings or as auctions: LEGO SDCC EXCLUSIVES ON EBAY
What do you think? How do you like the 2018 SDCC specials? Are you planning to build any of the sets? Or, perhaps even buy them? Do you have any of them already? Feel free to share your thoughts and own reviews in the comment section below! 😉

Thanks for this. They look like easy builds. I want to do the Falcon cockpit. I like the design of those seats.
I like that Falcon one too. It’s a nice build.
I like the Ant Man mask. I bet someone will continue and make it into a full figure!
I might give these a shot. It looks like a good project for the weekend. Seems that the pieces are basic enough, and there is always room for changes.
