Just a quick reminder that the #10275 LEGO Creator Expert Elf Clubhouse, is now available for LEGO VIP members. This is the latest in the LEGO Winter Village series, following the #10199 LEGO Winter Village Toy Shop form 2009, the #10216 LEGO Winter Village Bakery from 2010, the #10222 LEGO Winter Village Post office from 2011, the #10229 LEGO Winter Village Cottage from 2012, the #10235 LEGO Winter Village Market from 2013, and the #10245 LEGO Santa’s Workshop from 2014.
In 2015, we got the #10249 LEGO Winter Village Toy Shop, which was a re-release of the set from 2009. Many LEGO fans were disappointed that they didn’t get a new set to expand their village that year, so from the following year on, LEGO continued with new designs. We got the #10254 LEGO Winter Holiday Train in 2016, the #10259 LEGO Winter Village Train Station in 2017, the #10263 LEGO Winter Village Fire Station in 2018, and the #10267 LEGO Winter Village Gingerbread House in 2019.
Notice that while the majority of the LEGO Winter Village sets are based on reality (small, idyllic Alpine village celebrating Christmas), three of the sets are fantasy based; Santa’s Workshop, the Gingerbread House, and now the Elf Clubhouse. Some LEGO fans don’t mind mixing the reality and fantasy based sets into one layout, while others separate them into different areas, or even convert the fantasy-based sets into regular village houses.
It has become a tradition for many families to set up their LEGO Winter Village leading up to the holiday season, and add whatever is the new set for the year. You can find some beautiful and inspiring ideas on LEGO fan sites and social media. People may build their entire layout using LEGO pieces, or they surround the LEGO Winter Village sets with other materials to mimic snow, ice, and winter vegetation.
The #10275 LEGO Creator Expert Elf Clubhouse is the second Winter Village set featuring the elves. In the #10245 LEGO Santa’s Workshop, the elves were hard at work making and wrapping toys, and packing Santa’s sleigh full of Christmas gifts. In the Elf Clubhouse, we see the elves relaxing and fueling up on waffles whenever they have a chance to take a break from their busy schedule. However, even here, they have a packaging station, so they can wrap more gifts!
The #10275 LEGO Creator Expert Elf Clubhouse also introduces a new reindeer. Santa’s Workshop included five brick-built reindeer, but this time around, we get a moulded one. The mould is the same as the magical stag in the LEGO Harry Potter sets, but in proper reindeer colors. It’s always great to see new animal moulds!
Although the subject is fantasy, the clubhouse itself fits well with the traditional LEGO Winter Village sets both in style and in size. It about 8.5” (22cm) high and 5” (13cm) deep once fully built. The set comes with 1,197pieces, including a light-brick, so you can lit up the inside. There is also a fun play-feature of “making waffles” by pulling a lever and have the waffles drop into the frying pan.
One unusual feature of this set compared to the previous LEGO Winter Village sets is that it’s designated as recommended for ages 18+ (the other sets were designated 12+, which is a more appropriate recommendation.). If you have been building the LEGO Winter Village sets with your children and grandchildren, please don’t get this new designation scare you away. The set isn’t any more difficult to build that the earlier sets in the collection, and its subject and play-features are certainly appropriate for children. It’s just that LEGO is currently pushing hard to attract the adult crowd.
As mentioned above, the #10275 LEGO Creator Expert Elf Clubhouse is now available to LEGO VIP members before wider release on October 1st. If you do want to get this set before Christmas, I highly recommend you get it now. We’re already dealing with shortages in North America, and as this is a holiday set, there will be great demand for this set as well as other holiday-themed sets. It’s also worth noting that the #10267 LEGO Winter Village Gingerbread House from last year is also available (although on backorder). You can get both sets, along with some other Christmas-themed sets at the .

Must get more of that reindeer! Cute set!
Picked mine up on Thursday. Decided to buy only one for now and pick up another one later on. I start building my winter village on November 1 every year. I do a large Halloween Lego display as well that has to come down first. I play a game with myself every year. ‘ see how long I can keep from building the new winter village set’ . I never make it to November. Lol.
I have all the sets, Multiples of most and I spend the better part of a month building my winter village moc. My friends and family look forward to seeing it every year. This years set is really cute but it will be hard to top the gingerbread house from last year. I think that one is my favorite of all the sets. I ended up building a whole gingerbread lane! Happy Building!🎅🏼
I also really like the gingerbread house. That and the winter village cottage are my favorites.
Did you guys participate in the Afol day events? I spaced out and missed the first part, and was only able to catch the last session about quality. It was really interesting and I was sad I missed the others.
I got nervous we he was talking about how he was nervous about making Lego bricks more sustaninable.
That was a very interesting presentation.
I like the elf clubhouse more and more. It’s similar to the other sets, so first I thought it was a little boring, but it has some cute parts like the wallfe maker and the swiveling beds. And I like the high roof.
