Many of the early 2021 LEGO sets are already listed at the Online LEGO Shop, so we can start discussing them early! I like to see upcoming sets ahead of time because it helps me plan future purchases and even inspire me to start new building projects. So, let’s take a look at what’s coming!
2021 LEGO CITY SETS: LEGO City is going to get the usual assortment of police and fire sets, but there are also some more interesting sets like the #60283 LEGO City Holiday Camper Van, the #60287 LEGO City Tractor, and the #60288 LEGO City Race Buggy Transport. But what’s making LEGO fans really curious are all the new LEGO City sets with the new brick-built road system. This includes the #50304 LEGO City Road Plates, the #60290 LEGO City Skate Park, the #60291 LEGO City Family House, the #60292 LEGO City Town Center, and the #60306 LEGO City Shopping Street. You can check them out at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO CREATOR 3-IN-1 SETS: As usual, we are getting several 3-in-1 sets next year. Some of the more interesting ones are the #31112 LEGO Creator Wild Lion, the #31115 LEGO Creator Space Mining Mech, the #31116 Safari Wildlife Tree House, and the #31118 LEGO Creator Surfer Beach House. Watch out for them at the LEGO Creator section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO CREATOR MODULAR BUILDING: We already talked about this set via the official press-release (see: 2021 LEGO Modular Building: LEGO Police Station), but because the new LEGO Modular Building is always a highlight of the year, it’s worth repeating that the next in the series is going to be the #10278 LEGO Creator Police Station. The Police station has some fantastic play-features, and a really nice exterior. You can find more information on the set at the LEGO Creator section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGURES: Series 21 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures features only twelve characters: Centaur Warrior, Shipwreck Survivor, Pug Costume Guy, Beekeeper, Ladybug Girl, Violin Kid, Alien, Space Police Guy, Ancient Warrior, Airplane Girl, Cabaret Singer, and Paddle Surfer. You can find them at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO DISNEY SETS: Only a few of next year’s Disney sets have been official revealed, but I like the #43189 LEGO Disney Elsa’s Storybook Adventures (which will be the 5th set in the collection), and the #43192 LEGO Disney Cinderella’s Royal Carriage. You can watch out for the sets at the LEGO Disney section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO DOTS SETS: LEGO DOTS continues with new releases, similar to what we got this year; bracelets, extra DOTS packs, and kits for decorative projects. The #41926 LEGO DOTS Creative Party Kit is especially interesting, and I like that the bracelet sets now feature two narrow bracelets instead of one wide one. You can find the sets at the LEGO DOTS section of the Online LEGO Shop. There is also going to be a new collection called LEGO Dots Bag Tags with buildable cubes that can be decorated with LEGO DOTS tiles and other small elements.
2021 LEGO FRIENDS SETS: We will also get several new LEGO Friends sets early next year. Some of the more notable ones are the #41444 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Organic Cafe, the #41446 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Vet Clinic, the #41448 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Movie Theater, the #41449 LEGO Friends Andrea’s Family House, and the large #41450 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Shopping Mall with a moving escalator! There are also going to be new LEGO Friends Cubes, with cute pet faces printed at the front. Anyhow, you can check them out at the LEGO Friends section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO HARRY POTTER SETS: We already talked about the four new LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Moment sets yesterday so I won’t repeat my review on them, but in summary, I like them a lot. And we also discussed the #31201 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests mosaic that will be similar to the already released LEGO Art sets. There are tons of other set numbers that have been revealed as well, but no set names or pictures yet. Keep an eye out for them at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO ART SETS: Speaking of the LEGO Art series, we already know about the #31202 LEGO Art Disney’s Mickey Mouse mosaic, and there will be even more LEGO Art sets released later in the year. No information on these yet, so check for updates at the LEGO Art section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO BOTANICAL SETS: Two other interesting sets targeting adult LEGO fans are the #10280 LEGO Flower Bouquet and the #10281 LEGO Creator Bonsai Tree. Both would work well as unique gifts to even non-LEGO fans, and would look beautiful on display. You can check them out at the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO MINECRAFT SETS: LEGO Minecraft is still going very strong with many new sets each year. Not all the sets have pictures yet, but a particularly intriguing set that was already revealed is the #21170 LEGO Minecraft The Pig House. You can watch for other upcoming set at the LEGO Minecraft section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES SETS: Several of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets are listed already, but honestly, I didn’t find any of them very interesting. Although the Mech Armor sets may have some potential. The largest set revealed so far is the #76175 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Attack on the Spider Lair, which might be of interest to younger LEGO Spider-Man fans. Check the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO SUPER MARIO SETS: The LEGO Mario line has been doing well and LEGO is adding more new sets next year, including new courses, new Power-Up Packs, and collectible figures. You can find them at the LEGO Super Mario section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO MINIONS SETS: Some of the LEGO Minions sets that we thought were going to be released this year were shifted to next year. I quite like the #75550 LEGO Minions Kung Fu Battle set. You can check out the upcoming sets, as well as the current ones, at the LEGO Minions section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO MONKIE KID SETS: This new theme that was introduced this year will continue next year with more sets. The only one officially revealed so far is the #80023 LEGO Monkie Kid’s Team Quadcopter, which you can find at the LEGO Monkie Kid section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO NINJAGO SETS: There is going to be a new collection of LEGO Ninjago Epic Battle Sets with two characters, weapons, and a small battle arena. There are also going to be new LEGO Ninjago Legacy sets, which are upgrades of sets released in the earlier seasons. But the most interesting new sets will be released in March, featuring awesome island warriors, jungle dragons, catamarans, and a whole island village scene. Look out for them at the LEGO Ninjago section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO CHINESE NEW YEAR SETS: Continuing with the Asian fantasy themes, we are also getting two new LEGO Chinese New Year sets. We talked about these already, but just as a reminder, the two sets are the #80106 LEGO Story of Nian, and the #80107 LEGO Spring Lantern Festival. You can find them at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO STAR WARS SETS: Only a few of the 2021 LEGO Star Wars sets have been revealed so far, featuring some new Microfighters and re-releases of older sets. The most interesting set so far is the #75299 LEGO Star Wars Trouble on Tatooine featuring a small scene from The Mandalorian. Keep an eye out for more new sets at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.
2021 LEGO TECHNIC SETS: Several noteworthy LEGO Technic sets are coming. We already talked about the #42123 LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR and the #42125 LEGO Technic Ferrari 488 GTE. A couple of other interesting sets are the #42122 LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler and the motorized #42124 LEGO Technic Off-Road Buggy. And my two favorites are the new pull-back racers; the #42118 LEGO Technic Monster Jam Grave Digger and #42119 LEGO Technic Monster Jam Max D. This is the first time the pull-back racers are licensed vehicles, and they do look really good in my opinion. You can find the sets at the LEGO Technic section of the Online LEGO Shop.
That’s pretty much all the new sets I have seen so far that were officially revealed, but we can expect even more between now and the beginning of next year. What do you think? Which of the new sets are you adding to your wanted list? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

The Botanical sets are beautiful. I know people that would love those.
Also new miniifigures. I’m going to need some bee keepers to give to bee keepers I know.
WHAT IS THE NEW LEGO ARCHITECTURE RELESING 2021 NO LEGO ARCHITECTURE IN 2021 REPLY AND WHAT IS THE NEW LEGO ARCHITECURE IS IT MOSCOW,VANCOVER,ROME OR MORE SKYLINES AND LEGO MODEL LIKE THE TAIPEI 101 18 PLUS LEGO ARCHITECTURE SET AND CN TOWER,OR MERLION STATUE OR MORE REPLY WHAT IS THE NEW LEGO ARCHITECTURE SET
Jerome, the 2021 Architecture sets won’t be released until later in the year (summer is what I heard). So, we will have to wait a while until they get revealed.
Jerome… are you ON something?
Why is your response in all caps without punctuation? Why are you yelling? Why are you literally asking the same question twice? The blog writers aren’t deaf of illiterate.
Yes, on some City sets basically the tractor the race car and the Jet with the trailer. Also Harry Potter sets seems promising. Ninjago is definitely promising definitely want to get those. Marvel not so much and Star Wars is so so may just get the Tie Fighter. But I think the Ninjago Islands series will go great with my Pirates of Barracuda Bay set. However I’m debating and may just get the Dragon set. There’s also one coming that’s supposed to be the overlord dragon as well. But, that hasn’t shown yet but has been talked about. It may just be a rumor.🤔. I’m trying to cut back on city sets even though the sets are getting better and better each year. As I say I may just get a few here and there. But I think my focus is more on Ninjago, Star Wars and Harry Potter. Oh, and yes on the Creator modular police station, but, I may get that later this year. As for the next mystery bags series I’m up in the air about that. It’s a hit and miss for me. But we’ll see.
The Overlord Dragon set is listed at Brickset…

I like the Jungle Dragon the most. Interesting design and colors: https://brickset.com/sets/71746-1/Jungle-Dragon
Hmm, I’m considering buying the Creator 31111 Cyber Drone and a couple of the CMF minifigs. I also might buy a few of the Marvel figs and the purple bicycle from 60306 Shopping Street separately.
The bike is actually magenta. LEGO finally got the memo that many of us collect different color bikes. 😀
Yeah, last month I finally found a yellow bike together with a raised 6090 baseplate in a thrift store bulk build for about the same price as only a yellow bike and the baseplate would go for on Bricklink. Unfortunately most of the other parts were old 60’s and 70’s yellowed parts I don’t have much use for, but at least I got the bike. Now I only miss the Dark Pink one.
They yellow one is super rare, so nice find! I only have the black, green, medium-azure, red, and now the magenta. I’m missing the bright-light-orange, dark-pink, white, and of course yellow. I don’t go out of my way to get the missing ones, but it would be nice to get them all.
Uhmm. Hopefully the magenta bike will decrease in price after its initial release. I’ll try to get one soon…
The ninjago sets look incredible. It reminds me of the old islanders sets.
That’s what I thought too. Fantastic wave!
…or possibly some of the Adventurers Jungle sets…
But thankfully not with similar garishly mixmatched color schemes…
Can you tell me if Lego are bringing out a creator expert “Titanic” as seen online ,but can’t find any info on Lego about it
Thanks
Jules, the Titanic was not announced yet. At this point, it’s only a rumor. However, as soon as we get valid information, we will definitely post about it. 🙂
Wow. So much to look forward to. Police Station, Technic sets, Ninjago. Star Wars is the weakest, but they usually have big releases later in the year. Where is Speed Champions though? Aren’t we usually getting new sets in Jan-March?
Maybe they are discontinuing Speed Champions? It would be a bummer as they just started the wider format this year.
The German Lego blog StoneWars has looked it up with retailers, and apparently Architecture and Speed Champions will continue, delayed until the second halfyear.

Thanks for the info! Great to hear!
I’ll be adding the police station to my growing city. And I really like the camper and the surfer house. I’m trying to add a water front, I think I’ll need surfers!
Yeah, hang loose! Surfers and surfboards seem easy to find on Bricklink…
I’m curious about the powered up Technic buggy. It seems to be the smallest set with power functions.
Yes, it’s a good entry-level PUP set.
