The LEGO Star Wars Day special offers and promotions have been running since the 1st of May, and will continue through tomorrow. The newly released #75308 LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 is already out of stock, however many of the other popular sets are still available. If the set you want is out of stock, you can sign up for email notification to get alerted when it’s back in stock again, and if the set is backordered, you can still purchase it, but there may be some delay in delivery.
As far as the special offers, you can earn Double VIP Points on all LEGO Star Wars purchases until the end of the promotion, and the free #40451 LEGO Star Wars Tatooine Homestead set with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $85 or more is still available. In addition, if you live near an official LEGO store, you also get a #30388 LEGO Star Wars Imperial Shuttle set with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $40 or more. And there is a sweepstake running for LEGO VIP members until May 21st for a one-of-a-kind Jon “Dutch” Vander minifigure and print. To take advantage of all the May the Fourth specials before they expire, visit the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The other big news is that a very large number of upcoming LEGO sets have been revealed via various LEGO retailers. Some of the highlights include the #10289 LEGO Creator Bird of Paradise set (the third set in the botanical collection), the #21056 LEGO Architecture Taj Mahal (a smaller version of the previous set), five new LEGO Minecraft sets, and five excellent LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets including the #31117 LEGO Creator Space Shuttle Adventure, the #31119 LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel, the #31120 LEGO Creator Medieval Castle, the #31121 LEGO Creator Crocodile, and the #31122 LEGO Creator Fish Bowl. Check the LEGO Minecraft and LEGO Creator sections of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO Friends has an incredible lineup as well, including the #41682 LEGO Friends Heartlake City School, the #41683 LEGO Friends Forest Horse Riding Center, the #41684 LEGO Friends Heartlake City Grand Hotel, and the #41685 LEGO Friends Magical Funfair Rollercoaster. See the LEGO Friends section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO DOTS continues with some great sets featuring small decorative tiles. The most intriguing ones are the #41935 LEGO DOTS Lots of Dots set and the #41938 LEGO DOTS Creative Designer Box. And we already talked about the new LEGO VIDIYO sets the other day, which also use a lot of small tiles. Look for them at the LEGO DOTS and LEGO VIDIYO sections of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO Disney has a couple of remakes in the form of the #43194 LEGO Disney Frozen Ice Castle, and the #43196 LEGO Disney Belle and the Beast’s Castle. And there are a number of LEGO Mickey Mouse sets for younger builders ( DUPLO and 4+ sets). They will be listed at the LEGO Disney section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO City is going to be a big hit this summer with three sets featuring new animal moulds. The #60300 LEGO City Animal Rescue ATV comes with a couple of new monkeys. The #60301 LEGO City Animal Rescue Off-Road Vehicle comes with a large male lion, a baby lion, and a beautifully patterned new snake. And the #60302 LEGO City Animal Rescue Operation brings back the LEGO elephant (both adult and baby). I’m certain that these sets are going to fly off the shelves. They will be available at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
There is also a large wave of LEGO Ninjago sets coming, including LEGO Ninjago Legacy sets (which are remakes of sets from older seasons), as well as sets related to LEGO Ninjago Season 15, titled Seabound. This season brings us some particularly beautiful sets, like the #71754 LEGO Ninjago Water Dragon, the #71755 LEGO Ninjago Temple of the Endless Sea, and the #71756 LEGO Ninjago Hydro Bounty. They should be listed soon at the LEGO Ninjago section of the Online LEGO Shop.
We are also getting six new LEGO Speed Champions sets. These are the wider vehicles introduced last year with larger sizes and more detail than the previous sets. The collection includes the #76900 LEGO Speed Champions Koeniggsegg Jesko, the #76901 LEGO Speed Champions Toyota GR Supra, the #76902 LEGO Speed Champions McLaren Elva, the #76903 LEGO Speed Champions Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1968 Chevrolet Corvette (a double pack), the #76904 LEGO Speed Champions Mopar Dodge//SRT Top Fuel Dragster and 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A (another double pack), and the #76905 LEGO Speed Champions Ford GT Heritage Edition and Bronco R. (the third double pack of the new wave). The name of these sets are a mouthful! Anyhow, you should be able to find them soon at the LEGO Speed Champions section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Again, these are just the highlights that caught my eyes as I was looking through the list. If you want to check out all the upcoming sets, visit the 2021 Not Yet Released Sets list in the Brickset database (just follow the link to take you there). Browse through the selection and let me know which sets you’re looking forward to the most! And you can also start looking for them at the new sets section of the Online LEGO Shop.

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU! So many choices , I’m looking at city, creator 3 in 1 and Ninjago sets. All of them look very good. Let alone lets not forget the new Harry Potter sets too. I may make a hard choice and skip Harry Potter and go to city, Ninjago or creator 3 in 1 sets . Why do you do this to me LEGO. If LEGO wasn’t so dedicated to there product this would so much easier. LOL!
Hmm, I guess I might snag certain parts here, separately, but right now I’m saving my money until the Daily Bugle will get revealed (on the 11th?)
Thanks for the info on the new sets. Already added several of them on my wanted list. 🤗
The castle looks sweet. I will buy that. And those City animals, oh, my! I will have to get at least the elephants and the lions.
I wonder if the yellow is meant to be a nod to the first castle set. We really need more castles.
It also mixes things up a bit with a splash of color, and could be a reference to the yellow “Tudor” wall panels found in 6074 Black Falcon’s Fortress and 6086 Black Knight’s Castle. (The parts have gotten quite pricy on BrickLink, I see, particularly the red variants.)
Oh, yes, the Tudor wall panels! I forgot about those. A really great piece.
I really like the summer creator sets. The castle, the crocodile, and the Ferris Wheel are my favorites, and even the fish tank is neat. I hope I can get them all.
The ninjago sets look great. Especially that submarine looking thing and the dragon. I’m looking forward to picking those up. I hope they aren’t too expensive
