The month of November brings us the holiday shopping season, leading up to Thanksgiving. There are a number of new LEGO sets and promotions to look out for this month, so let’s take a look!
FREE LEGO COFFEE CART: November 8-14 you will get a free #40488 LEGO Coffee Cart with purchases of $65 or more. This cute set would be a nice addition to any LEGO city layout. The offer is available at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO BLACK FRIDAY VIP WEEKEND: This 2-day event (November 20-21) takes place the weekend before Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It allows LEGO VIP members to shop before the holiday rush. Based on previous year’s events, we can expect Double VIP Points, an exclusive Black Friday set, and maybe even some new sets that haven’t been announced yet. It’s very likely that a lot of sets will sell out early due to high demand and shortages caused by the ongoing pandemic just like we have seen last year, so mark your calendar and make sure you get what you want during the Black Friday VIP Weekend, or even before that at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop.
BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY WEEKEND: Thanksgiving falls on November 25th, and the official Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping event will take place November 26-29. As usual, LEGO will be participating in the event. The details will be announced later, but Double VIP Points and perhaps some other rewards are likely. As mentioned above, I would suggest shopping earlier this year due to expected shortages. We will further discuss this event as soon as more details are available.
LEGO TITANIC AVAILABLE: The #10294 LEGO Titanic is one of the longest and largest LEGO models to date, measuring over a meter long and with over 9,000 pieces. It is available for pre-order starting today, and general sale will begin next week, on November 8th. We can expect that the first batch of this set will sell out very fast. So if you want it, don’t delay. You can read the press-release with all the details here. It is available at the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.
LEGO IDEAS HOME ALONE AVAILABLE: Another recently announced and highly desirable new release for the holidays is the #21330 LEGO Ideas Home Alone McCallister House. This set comes with almost 4,000 pieces and features a highly detailed replica of the McCallister’s home, as well as all the key characters. You can read more about the set here, and purchase it at the LEGO Ideas section of the Online LEGO Shop. (I don’t want to keep repeating myself, but if you want this set before Christmas, don’t delay!)
LEGO BATMAN SETS AVAILABLE: There is a whole new wave of LEGO Batman sets that just became available. This includes the #76240 LEGO DC Batman Batmobile Tumbler (which is a re-release of the earlier Tumbler with some minor changes), the #42127 LEGO Technic Batman Batmobile (which is the first Technic Batman vehicle and with lights!), the #76183 LEGO Batman Batcave: The Riddler Face-Off (a fun set with lots of play-features!), the #76181 LEGO Batman Batmobile: The Penguin Chase (with a smaller, minifig-size Batmobile), and the #76179 LEGO Batman & Selina Kyle Motorcycle Pursuit (a small set with a couple of bikes and minifigs). I think the most interesting of these sets is the Technic Batmobile and the Batcave, but you’re welcome to share your favorites in the comment section below. All the sets are now available at the LEGO Batman section of the Online LEGO Shop.
And of course, remember all the recently released sets that we talked about previously. If you’re looking for the largest and most details sets, the best way to find them is to look through the Adults Welcome section of the Online LEGO Shop. And you can also search for sets by specific themes.
Also, remember that the Holiday Gift Guide is now open at the Online LEGO Shop. This is a useful way to search for sets and themes based on age and interest. It is particularly helpful for those who are purchasing gifts for friends and family. You can take a look at the Holiday Gift Guide section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? Do you have your holiday shopping list ready? Are you getting any new LEGO sets for yourself or for friends and family? What’s on your wish list? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

Every time I see that ship, I’m amazed by its size. It’s humongous!
I’m serious considering the Titanic, but still have to save up for it. Lego keeps releasing bigger and bigger sets. Where are they going to stop?
Anybody getting the Technic Batmobile? I’m curious about that set. It seems like a food build.
I’m interested in that one too. Not the most accurate, but I still like it
