Today, the LEGO Group revealed a luxurious new address with the #10297 LEGO Boutique Hotel set, the latest addition to the LEGO Modular Building collection. Colorful and quirky, the new 3,066-piece LEGO Boutique Hotel is full of character and details that will have fans stepping back in time to a by-gone era. Details below.
In 2022, the LEGO Modular Building collection celebrates its 15th anniversary and the new set is the 17th LEGO set to be released, joining the #10270 LEGO Bookshop, the #10255 LEGO Assembly Square, and the #10278 LEGO Police Station.
The LEGO Boutique Hotel is also full of Easter eggs and references to the previous 15 years of modular building sets, many of which are revealed in the building instructions. Meaning, fans will have an exciting time discovering hidden gems while they build.
- The set comes in five sections, including:
- The ground floor, featuring the lobby and an art gallery
- The terrace, with art gallery reception and palm tree
- The first floor, with hotel rooms
- The second floor, with a penthouse suite
- The roof, with a decorative dome
- Size: 39cm high, 25cm wide, and 25cm deep
- Comes with 3,066 pieces
- Recommended for 18+
Each hotel room features distinct styles of furniture and requires varied building techniques, whilst the art gallery features several tributes to Cubist art. The set also features a unique angled shape, which requires some unusual LEGO geometry, providing a new LEGO Modular Building experience for collectors.
Anderson Grubb, LEGO Set Designer commented, “It was really exciting to be working on the LEGO Boutique Hotel and to have the opportunity to design this in celebration of 15 years of the collection. When we approach the design for a Modular Building, we are conscious of the previous sets and therefore want to create something that is new, that really compliments the collection. I am really happy with the final design, the variety of intriguing building techniques, and all the nods to the previous LEGO Modular buildings.”
The #10297 LEGO Boutique Hotel set is available from official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop from the 1st of January, 2022. Prices are as follows: €199.99 / $199.99 / £179.99 / 269.99 CAD. For more details, visit the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Oh my! This is gorgeous! I read the rumors, but this is much better!
Not what I was expecting, so I will have to spend some time with the pictures. Bold design for sure.
Corner building, okay. My initial impression is that it’s a little bright for my taste. And that palm tree is sort of out of place compared to the earlier buildings. But it looks fine with the newer ones.
Magnificent! Elegant! I like it!
It’s an impressive set, but it’s too big and expensive for me, personally, so what I’m really interesting to know about is…
Is that brown hairpiece new?…
I believe it’s this hairpiece: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=27186#T=P
Yeah, thanks.
It was mentioned on the New Elementary blog.
Apparently it has only been included in one set for a licensed character so far, so it’s pretty rare…
Hmm, I wonder if the pianist on the black-and-white television set is meant to allude to Liberace. Liberace usually wore a lot more extravagant costumes on set, though…
This got to be my second favorite after the Parisian. Does anyone know what type of architecture style this is? It has a palm tree, so I assume something from a Mediterranean country? Perhaps Italy?
For those asking the style, Is it Spanish colonial revival? Either way This has great personality….My wallet definitely needs a rest but i will be adding this to the Assembly square and Parisian. 🙂
I see people calling it all kind of different styles. Spanish, French, Italian, Danish, from Miami. I’m not sure, what it is, but I like it. To me, it seems closest to the Parisian Restaurant. And I like your idea of placing it next to Assembly Square.
Everything Lego is called Danish by default, so it might be a joke. I believe as a whole, Danish architecture has mostly been imported from Germany.
It looks like this set might look best all by itself. Or maybe next to one of the plain buildings. I’m not convinced anything would look good on the left of it. As I display my modulars in one row, I think I will put it at the very end.
I was a bit neutral at first, but it is growing on me. I’ve noted several Italian/Venice style buildings in the LEGO Ideas reviews. I wonder of that is where the designer drew inspiration. Overall, I do plan to get it and add it to my city. I had started my modular collection late, and I missed out on the Corner Cafe before prices on the secondary market became prohibitive. So a hotel will be a great idea to my town.
