The episodes should start airing this summer, although the exact release dates haven’t been announced yet. However, there are a couple of teasers available, as well as images of the upcoming sets. So let’s take a look!

For the upcoming season, Lloyd is the mascot character, the Crystal King is the main antagonist, and the Vengestone army serves as the villainous faction. According to the teaser, the ninjas are back for another season with brand new adventures. This time, they have been locked up in Kryptarium Prison where they are surrounded by some of their old enemies. Here, they learn a mysterious Crystal King is recruiting a council of evil enemies. Yes,yes, yeeeesss! I looked at the new ninjago sets and I got all tingly inside. A must have and it would go great with other themes like the monkie kid and /or the nexo knights theme. ( in some sense those themes can go together anyway). The choices LEGO throws at is a bit overwhelming. That’s just because they are getting better at their creativity. My poor wallet. I guess broke will be my middle name. Lol!

It seems like the mech has knee articulation?

Hmm, these Japanese-inspired “oni” demon masks are pretty cool…

Although I’m not sure if I actually need them for anything. If they’d come in green, I might possibly use them for a Sam Raimi (Willem Dafoe) Green Goblin…

I’m so glad they brought the masks back. I have been collecting those.
