Home to the house of Elrond, Rivendell is a key location in Middle–earth and events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, as the place where the Fellowship was formed and the quest to destroy the One Ring began. We talked about the #10316 LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings Rivendell set already, including the designer video, where LEGO Designers Chris Perron, Wes Talbott, and Ashwin Visser show us the details of this beautiful model (see: LEGO Lord of the Rings Rivendell Designer-Video).
As this is such a beautiful set, and also a big investment for those who consider purchasing it, I thought to share one more video about it; JANGBRiCKS full review. This almost 40-minute walkthrough review shows you all the details of the set. JANG’s reviews are always professional and highly informative, and this video is especially well done. I like to watch (or just listen to) his videos while I’m building. Take a look below.
As you can see, this is a gorgeous set in every way, and also an amazing parts-pack. I hope it will be available for at least a couple of years so more people can save up for it. If you would like to purchase the set or just see more pictures and find more information, visit the LEGO Lord of the Rings section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? How do you like this set? Do you have it already? Or are you planning to get it later? Feel free to share your thoughts and own reviews in the comment section below!

I can’t justify spending $500 on a lego set, but it’s beautiful . And the video was great . I will just have to admire this from a distance .
my favorite part is all those white filigree pieces. Oh, and the roof. I saw somewhere that you use a pate or tile to straighten them out in the instructions.
I love the roof tile technique. I’m planning to use that on a custom modular.
Many of these big sets, I can only enjoy through reviews. Sad, but I kinda accepted that I will never own them.
Ha! I also watch Jang when I’m building. I
He also used to do full length live builds on another channel, but then he migrated that channel to twitch.
