I’m doomed. Haha. 😀
I really like to look of that friends tower set. It looks pretty, and what a great idea making a community center! City never had such sets!
Wait a minute.. this is the first time I’m seeing that Monkie Kid palace! It reminds me of the Various fake Chinese sets I have seen floating around Facebook. But it is obviously better. Is LEGO trying to complete in the Chinese market against Chinese brands?
Yeah, something like that, I guess. China might still be the main market for the Monkie Kid sets… (The question is if the Chinese middle class perceives the brand as good enough value, considering the higher prices.)
Hmm, the Friends and the Jurassic Park sets are nice. But I don’t really have the space or funds necessary for much new Lego purchases. I’ll hold out until the August Marvel releases, and there are discounts, I guess…
Isn’t there supposed to be some creator three in one sets too? One of them was a rollercoaster, I think.
They were May releases, I believe…
Or, there was 31144: Exotic Pink Parrot, which was a recolor of 31136: Exotic Parrot, but I think that was all for June…
The space roller coaster, pink parrot, and main street sets won’t be available in the US until August, but I think they have been released in other countries.
PROMOTIONS?
When I looked early Thursday evening there was double VIP points, a VIP bag with a $50 purchase, a pirate playground with $100 purchase and a LEGO blanket with a $200 purchase. A great opportunity to buy and to stack promotions. By Friday morning, the pirate and blanket promotions disappeared!
I can’t move so quickly. A big disappointment!
