A new LEGO Collectible Minifigures series is coming soon featuring Marvel characters! The #71039 LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures will be available starting on September 1st.
The collection features twelve unique characters: Agatha Harkness, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, She-Hulk, The Werewolf, Goliath, Storm, Beast, Wolverine, and Echo. All twelve highly detailed characters come with at least one authentic accessory.
A unique feature of this series is that this is the first time we will get the minifigures in blind boxes. In other words, no more feeling for the characters through the package. I expect that this will mean lots of torn-up boxes and the possibility that retailers will have to put the minifigures behind lock and key.
Again, the series won’t be available until September, but it is already listed for $4.99 each at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Also, remember that the LEGO Disney 100 Collectible Minifigures are still available featuring eighteen film characters: Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, The Queen, Stitch 626, Pocahontas, Cruella de Vil & Dalmatian puppy, Miguel & Dante, Ernesto de la Cruz, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Robin Hood, Prince John, Tiana, Dr. Facilier, Queen of Hearts, Mulan, Aurora, and Baymax. These are also $4.99 each and are available at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.
There are also some minifigure display cases in stock – worth getting if you would like to display your minifigs on a wall or shelf while protecting them from dust. You can find them at the LEGO Minifigures section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? Are you excited about the new Marvel minifigure series? Which is your favorite character? Or are you planning to collect them all? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

I guess it’s a bit of an uneven series, and I don’t have or follow Disney+ currently, but then I’m probably enough of a collector to gather them all, eventually…
I guess I like X-Men and partly She-Hulk the most, which might mostly be nostalgia after reading the comics in the 80’s and 90’s… The older character design is usually more colorful, as well…
If you buy a case, will you be getting one of each, or is each case randomized, too?
I was reading that recent series include full sets, so I assume this will be the case with the Marvel series too.
Theoretically, you should get three full sets, I believe, but occasionally that is not the case. (So then, you won’t be all set… I’ll let myself out…)
At the stores near me they already have the collectible minifigs either behind the counter or in a locked section.
I guess I’m going to channel my inner Dr. Strange just to see what’s in each package. 🤔. ( or use the force). Happy hunting. 😁.
Wrong universe. Perhaps Daredevil’s radar sense might be useful, though…
