LEGO Animal Crossing Sets Video Reviews

LEGO recently released a series of sets based on Animal Crossing, inspired by the popular video game series from Nintendo. The sets are fun and colorful, and the characters are reminiscent of the old LEGO Fabuland figures.

Another nice feature of these sets is that they were developed to fit together easily and offer a high level of customization. For instance, it’s possible to switch elements between buildings – including the window frames – with one simple click. All sets can be adapted, mixed, and changed, enabling fans of the series to create their own worlds and make the settings unique to them. In the videos below, JANGBRiCKS will show you the new sets in detail.

The #77046 LEGO Animal Crossing Julian’s Birthday Party comes with 170 pieces including yummy deserts, presents, and birthday decorations. Price: $14.99. Available at the LEGO Animal Crossing section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #77047 LEGO Animal Crossing Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities comes with 164 pieces and features a little campsite with a tent, a campfire for roasting marshmallows, various tools, and brick-built landscaping elements. I love the cherry tree that is so similar to the Fabuland fruit trees! Price $19.99. Available at the LEGO Animal Crossing section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #77048 LEGO Animal Crossing Kapp’n’s Island Boat Tour comes with 233 pieces and features an island setting with brick-built palm trees, bamboo, coconuts, fishing supplies, and of course a boat. The two minifigs are Kapp’n and Marshal. Price: $29.99. Available at the LEGO Animal Crossing section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #77049 LEGO Animal Crossing Isabelle’s House Visit comes with 389 pieces to build a little house for Isabelle and Fauna that looks so much like the Fabuland houses of the past. You can even swap out the windows depending on which design you prefer. Price: $39.99. Available at the LEGO Animal Crossing section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #77050 LEGO Animal Crossing Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House comes with 535 pieces and features two more Fabuland-like buildings; Nook’s Cranny shop and Rosie’s house. Price: $74.99. Available at the LEGO Animal Crossing section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Besides these five sets already available, there are at least a couple of more that will be coming later this year that we already know about. The #77051 LEGO Animal Crossing Fly with Dodo Airlines and the #77052 LEGO Animal Crossing K.K.’s Concert at the Plaza continue with more colorful settings and adorable minifigs.

Minecraft, Mario, Sonic, now Animal Crossing. Hopefully Zelda is inevitable at this point. Wouldn’t mind Metroid either. I think Megablocks has the Pokemon license at the moment?

The Fabuland vibe is undeniably strong with these. I never played Animal Crossing, but I want to get some of those doors and windows. And a couple of the minifigs.

I’m planning to get the sets with the houses. They are really cute.
