A few days ago, LEGO revealed the upcoming #10338 LEGO Icons Transformers Bumblebee set celebrating the 40th anniversary of the franchise. The LEGO version of Bumblebee joins the previously released #10302 LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime set. Both sets can be transformed from vehicle-mode to bot-mode without the need for disassembly.
I know many Transformers fans are curious about the set, and especially the transforming feature, so I included the video-review below by Solid Brix Studios.
As you can see, the transformation feature is quite seamless and the two sets look good together (although Bumblebee seems a bit too big next to Optimus Prime).
Both sets are also fairly prized, so collectors shouldn’t have too much difficulty getting these two iconic characters. The #10302 LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime set is currently available at the LEGO Icons section of the Online LEGO Shop, and the #10338 LEGO Icons Transformers Bumblebee set is going to be available from the beginning of July also at the LEGO Icons section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? How do you like these two LEGO Transformers sets? Are you planning to get either of them or both? And what other LEGO Transformers sets would you like to see in the future? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

It’s actually better than I thought.
I’m surprised they are not the same scale. I thought it was said in the trailer that they were the same scale.
Bumblebee has always been smaller than Optimus Prime. In the original 80’s toys, the size difference was even greater.
I might get this one for the building experience. I always liked building transforming things. 😀
