LEGO Ideas Godzilla & More Coming!

Over the past months, the LEGO Ideas Review Board has had the enjoyable task of evaluating 54 qualifying product ideas, all of which demonstrated a huge array of creativity and innovation. All these designs achieved 10,000 votes from the LEGO fan community between early September 2024 and early January 2025. And yesterday, the LEGO Ideas team announced the winners!

This time around, the winner is the LEGO Godzilla by MattE720! In addition, the team also selected the LEGO Camping Trip by terauma as a potential LEGO set, but they need more time to make a final decision. Stay tuned for further updates on this project. They also made a final decision on the LEGO Tintin – Space Rocket by tkel86, which was another project that needed more time to evaluate from a previous review period. It is now officially in the queue to become an official LEGO set!

There are currently thirteen LEGO Ideas projects in development, launching at different points in the future, so there is a lot to look forward to!

And there is no slowing down on LEGO Ideas! The LEGO Ideas Review Board is already hard at work on the next review, the First 2025 LEGO Ideas Review, which saw 57 Product Ideas collect 10,000 supporters. The results will be shared in September. In the meantime, take a look at the currently available LEGO Ideas sets originally designed by LEGO fans at the LEGO Ideas section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? Are you excited for any of these upcoming LEGO Ideas sets? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

    Well, that Godzilla is… interesting…

I hope Godzilla will have better colors, because the current one is a big gray blob. I really like the camping set as is tough. I hope they approve it.

It seems based on the Godzilla Minus One design, which is more or less a big gray blob to begin with. It even had a black-and-white version released separately to allude to its 1945 defeated Japanese setting.

Star Wars mostly has gray ships and vehicle in-universe, as well…

Tintin! That’s a deep cut. Maybe they are thinking more about European buyers than American buyers. But I guess it’s a good retro-scifi rocket in its own right as well.

If you’re even remotely interested in the Bandes Dessinées scene, it’s about as central you can get.

And the space rocket is such an iconic design. I could have figured Tintinimaginatio Moulinsart was a pain in chosen body part to deal with, but maybe Lego being an European company could have helped…

And you can google (or use some other search engine) for Tintin Rocket Merchandise to see a bunch of other examples. It’s been a popular choice for merch in Europe for decades. I have an old T-shirt from the 90’s somewhere in my T-shirt pile…

Oh!!! I love the camping trip! Is like a Friends set but with minifigs! 😊

They are saying there are thirteen sets in development? I only remember a couple of them! They are taking so long!
