BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 & 4 Sale Coming!

Well, this is a nice surprise! Excess BrickLink Designer Program sets from Series 3 and 4 will go on sale next week! Take a look at the announcement from the BrickLink team below.

BrickLink Designer Program – Series 3 Sets

As part of our production process, we sometimes have a small number of excess BDP sets from cancelled orders and extra sets produced to replace lost and damaged shipments. That’s the case for the BDP Series 3 and 4 sets. Inventory is very limited, so don’t miss your chance to buy one of these rare fan-designed sets! They will go live on January 21st, 2026, at 2PM EST / 11AM PST. We’ll also send you a follow-up email the day of the sale.

And here are some frequently asked questions and responses from the BrickLink team.

How can I check if excess BDP sets are available? – In order to receive a link to order excess stock sets, you need to be subscribed to marketing emails from BrickLink. You will find a link in the email you received about the extra BDP sets. Click the link, choose any of the sets listed, and you’ll be taken to LEGO.com. To add additional sets to your cart, you will need to navigate back to the BrickLink website.

Why are there extra BDP sets available, and how often does this happen? – The number of available sets consists of the limited quantity of cancelled orders and extra sets produced to replace lost and damaged shipments. We can only make these extra sets available when all pre-orders have been fulfilled. Excess set sales will occur roughly 3 months after orders are fulfilled for each market and may occur at different times for each region. Please note that due to extended shipping times in APAC markets, excess set sales will occur later than EMEA/AMS markets.

Are BDP sets restocked after selling out? – Currently, there are no plans to produce additional sets beyond the initial production run.

Who can purchase these extra BDP sets? – BrickLink members in the select markets serviced by LEGO.com for each sale have the opportunity to get their hands on these very limited number of sets.

Is there a limit on how many sets can be purchased? – Yes, there is a limit. You can buy one (1) of each of the sets available.

How do I place an order for an extra BDP set? – When the extra BDP sets are made available, you will click on any of the sets listed on the web page (link found in the email you received) and you’ll be taken to LEGO.com. Once there, you will be able to see if the set is sold out or not.

What payment methods are accepted for BDP sets? – To see a list of all the available payment methods, please visit the “Payment Methods” page on LEGO.com: https://www.lego.com/en-us/page/payment-methods.

Will there be more extra sets from future BDP series? – It is possible that additional sets will become available in the future. You will be notified via email when this occurs.

How can I stay updated on new BDP set releases and availability? – To stay updated on future BDP set availability, you need to be subscribed to BrickLink Marketing News. To subscribe, please visit “My Contact Settings” at https://www.bricklink.com/pref_contact.asp, then scroll to the bottom and check the “BrickLink Marketing News” box under Personalized Marketing.

I placed an order and received an email confirmation. When will my order ship? – Orders are not guaranteed until you receive a shipping confirmation email, which should happen within a few business days. Please note that due to limited quantities, high demand, and system limitations, confirmed orders can potentially be cancelled if stock is no longer available. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Sets that sell out quickly have a higher chance of having a small percentage of orders cancelled due to insufficient stock.

What do you think? Do you have any of these unique LEGO sets already? And are you excited about having a second chance of getting them?  Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!
