LEGO Ideas Tree House Deep Discount on Amazon!

The beautiful #21318 LEGO Ideas Tree House was first released in 2019 and it is rumored to retire at the end of this year. We discussed the set at length three years ago (see links at the end of this post), but in brief, it is a beautiful, highly detailed set that’s a pleasure to build, fun to play with, and looks great on display.

The regular price of the #21318 LEGO Ideas Tree House is $249.99, but it is currently 42% off on Amazon for only $144.23. This is the lowest price ever seen on this set, and an incredible deal. Even if you already have the set, it might be worth considering getting a second one (or even more) just for the parts. The set comes with 3,036 pieces, so at this price, we’re talking about less than five cents a piece. If you would like to check it out below is the link to the Amazon listing (please note that prices on Amazon can change quickly so you may or may not see the discount by the time you read this post):

Here is the official description of the set: Build, display and play with this intricately detailed, 3,036-piece #21318 LEGO Ideas Tree House. A complex build for experienced LEGO builders that all the family will love to play with, it features a landscape base and three tree house cabins—a main bedroom, bathroom and kids’ room. The four minifigs are mom, dad, and two kids. The set also includes a booklet with building instructions and information about this LEGO Ideas set’s fan creator and LEGO designer. Measures over 14” (37cm) high, 10” (27cm) wide and 9” (24cm) deep.

The model is packed with play-inspiring features including a buildable picnic table and seats, swing, bonfire, treasure map and hidden gem element to play out a treasure hunt, and a wind-up crane on the balcony of the bedroom cabin. The main bedroom cabin features a buildable bed, and assorted elements including hidden scissors (as a reference to the fan creator’s day job as a hairdresser), ship in a bottle, compass, clock plus a balcony with a hand-operated, wind-up crane to lift items up to the cabin. The Kids’ room features bunk beds and assorted elements such as a book and treasure map.

The tree has interchangeable sets of green summer leaf elements and yellow and brown fall leaf elements—these and various plant elements on the base are all made from sustainable-plant-based polyethylene plastic—and the treetop and cabin roofs are removable to allow easy access.

This is one of my most favorite LEGO sets so I’m happy that LEGO fans will be able to get it for such a great discount before it gets retired. I hope you guys have as much fun with it as I did. And if you already have the set and built it, feel free to share your own thoughts and reviews in the comment section below!

LEGO recently announced a brand-new series of sets based on Animal Crossing, inspired by the popular video game series from Nintendo. Millions of people have found their happy place while playing Animal Crossing. Now for the first time, that world is coming to LEGO brick form.

The five new play experiences, created in partnership with Nintendo, allow LEGO builders to explore the world and characters from the video games, and play out different stories in the brick-built landscape.

The sets have been developed to fit together easily and offer a high level of customization. For instance, it’s possible to switch elements between buildings – including the window frames – with one simple click. All sets can be adapted, mixed, and changed, enabling builders to create their own worlds and make the settings unique to them.

Builders aged 6+ can get creative and imaginative by bringing their favorite scenes and characters to life in the physical world with LEGO Animal Crossing. The five sets announced so far are as follows;

#77046 LEGO Animal Crossing Julian’s Birthday Party, where builders can celebrate with Julian, share cupcakes, and open presents. 170 pieces and Julian minifigure. Price: £12.99, $14.99, €14.99

#77047 LEGO Animal Crossing Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities allows enthusiasts of the great outdoors to role-play setting up a tent, roasting marshmallows or using the vaulting pole to jump across the water, and grab the shovel or other recognizable tools from the video game series. 164 pieces and Bunnie minifigure. Price: £17.99, $19.99, €19.99

#77048 LEGO Animal Crossing Kapp’n’s Island Boat Tour gives fans the opportunity to board the boat and explore another island with Kapp’n and Marshal, go on an adventure to search for coconuts and bamboo, discover wildlife, hermit crabs, and fish or simply hang out and enjoy the fire. 233 pieces, and Kapp’n and Marshal minifigures. Price: £24.99, $29.99, €29.99

#77049 LEGO Animal Crossing Isabelle’s House Visit allows builders to get creative and help Isabelle and Fauna customize Fauna’s house and enjoy activities like opening the balloon present, crafting tools, or picking fruits and flowers. 389 pieces and Isabelle and Fauna minifigures. Price: £34.99, $39.99, €39.99

#77050 LEGO Animal Crossing Nook’s Cranny & Rosie’s House gives builders two locations where they can role-play stocking up Nook’s Cranny shop or go to Rosie’s house for freshly baked cookies. 535 pieces and Tom Nook and Rosie minifigures. Price: £64.99, $74.99, €74.99

“To us, Animal Crossing is all about creativity and role-play, so bringing that to life in physical form using LEGO bricks and creating new minifigures has been fun for the team” said Simon Kent, Creative Lead, Design Director at the LEGO Group. “One of the challenges was to make sure that customization of the sets was simple so builders could experience the freedom they have in the game. Additionally, creating the minifigures to make sure they were accurately representing the characters in the video games was very important for us. We look forward to giving kids the opportunity to play with their favorite characters from Animal Crossing!”

“The Animal Crossing video game series is about creating a world where you freely build the life you want, and now with LEGO bricks, you can build that world with your own hands in the real world too” said Aya Kyogoku, Game Producer of Nintendo Co., Ltd. “Putting the sets together is only the beginning. Kids can use the furniture, plants, and more, included with each set, to customize them or even combine multiple sets to create their own village. There are so many different ways kids will be able to express their creativity based on what they like, which can evolve as they grow. We hope that the world of Animal Crossing and its characters, now also in the form of LEGO bricks, can bring smiles to people’s faces by being a part of their day-to-day lives.”

Since its first release in 2001, Animal Crossing continues to be one of the most popular franchises on Nintendo platforms. The new LEGO Animal Crossing sets will be available globally via LEGO Stores, all retailers and the Online LEGO Shop from March 1st, 2024. There is a good analysis of the new series by Ashnflash in the video below.
