The absolutely gorgeous #70751 LEGO Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu is now available for LEGO VIP members. The official release date is September 1st, but LEGO VIP members get access a couple of weeks early. We have talked about the set in detail previously (see: LEGO Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu Coming!), and I will repeat some of the most essential information here for your convenience. 🙂

This is the largest LEGO Ninjago set to date, and the first large LEGO Ninjago exclusive (meaning you can only buy it directly from LEGO, and perhaps through some specialty stores). While LEGO Ninjago often includes fantasy and sci-fi elements that don’t fit into an Asian-style ninja scene, LEGO did the smart move here with sticking with the traditional. This way the set doesn’t just appeal to Ninjago fans, but also those who like Asian design. Basically this is the Asian version of the #10193 LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village, and it is just as awesome.

We will be reviewing the #70751 LEGO Ninjago Temple of Airjitzu in detail, and in the meantime you can watch the designer-video above to show you some of the nicest details. If you are planning to get this set I suggest that you do so now. It will very likely be on backorder by the time it becomes available to the general public. Of course LEGO will be making more for a while, but availability may be sketchy, especially as we get closer to the year-end holiday season. I’m very certain that you can’t go wrong with this set. It is the ultimate gift for kids who are into LEGO Ninjago, a beautiful display piece for adult LEGO fans, and it is also a great investment (although to buy solely for investment purposes I would wait until the set is close to being retired). Win custom LEGO accessories by BrickForge!

Here is a bit of update from one of our favorite LEGO customer, BrickForge. BrickForge is well-known for their great variety and excellent quality custom LEGO accessories. They don’t just focus on weapons like most LEGO customizers, but also carry various tools, accessories, and everyday items for your LEGO minifigures. 🙂

While BrickForge regularly adds new items to their collection, lately they have been focusing on printing more and more of their custom LEGO elements. So now instead of just plain shields, you can get them with beautiful printing. They are also offering printed versions of many of their weapons, so for example the blade would be silver while the grip is bronze. They look quite beautiful, and the quality is excellent.

To bring awareness to the new items, BrickForge has been running regular giveaways on various social-media platforms. Currently these are run as weekly events, so you can enter to win a collection of new items every week. I won’t be able to post about these on a regular basis because there are many other topics to cover, however you can follow BrickForge on the following platforms for updates (the links will take you to BrickForge’s accounts): Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram and YouTube. Just follow the instructions (usually just have to like a post, or comment, or something simple like that) to enter the contests for a chance to win.

Besides entering the contests, you can of course also buy products directly at the BrickForge’s online shop, and in addition the BrickForge team attends many of the LEGO events and conventions around the USA as well, so if you are planning to go to any of those, look out for their booth.
