2013 LEGO sets & minifigures videos

We have talked about the 2013 LEGO sets coming up later this year extensively, but I also wanted to share with you a few videos from Spieletest.at to give you an even better idea of what’s coming. Spieletest.at is one of my favorite channels on YouTube as they always have excellent coverage of the toy fairs, and this year is no exception. Just take a look! 😀

2013 LEGO Sets - Nurnberg Toy Fair

2013 LEGO STAR WARS SETS & MINIFIGS: there is a nice assortment of sets and a full array of minifigures in this theme. I have been very impressed with the LEGO Star Wars minifigures in the past couple of years and LEGO is not disappointing this year either.

2013 LEGO MARVEL & DC SUPER HEROES SETS & MINIFIGS: the sets are on the smallish side in this wave, however the minifigs are just excellent. And there are a lot of them! Any LEGO Super Hero collector should be in ecstasy- at least that’s what I think! 🙄

2013 LEGO LORD OF THE RINGS SETS & MINIFIGS: to me this is the most exciting collection this year. A lot of fans are complaining that the Lord of the Rings sets in this wave are too small, but I’m quite happy with them. Small means more affordable so I can buy a greater variety. And one can always buy multiplies of each set to expand a scene (like the one with the Black Gate). The minifigures continue to be absolutely fantastic – I mean really; LEGO is going out of its way to make Lord of the Rings fans happy.

2013 LEGO CASTLE SETS & MINIFIGS: this video actually only shows the minifigures in the now LEGO Castle line, but you can look up the previous discussions for the sets themselves in the LEGO Castle section.

2013 LEGO LEGENDS OF CHIMA SETS & MINIFIGS: here again the focus is on the minifigures, but we discussed the sets already anyway. If you missed them check out the LEGO Legends of Chima section.

2013 LEGO FRIENDS SETS & MINIFIGS: more sweet sets for girls! The LEGO Friends sets have been a huge success since their launch, and looks like LEGO is still full of ideas for interesting and innovative sets to build up Hearlake City. I particularly like the school in this wave, and we finally get some boys included! 😛

So what do you think? How do you like the upcoming LEGO sets, and especially the minifigures? Are you planning to collect them? Which ones? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
