The molded castle-base looks very Mega Bloks-ish, but on the positive side it keeps the price of the LEGO Chess-Set down. In fact, besides appealing to LEGO chess fans, this set is a dream for LEGO Castle army-builders; you get 28 minifigures for $49.99! That’s $1.78 per minifigure – an excellent price! Plus you also get a bunch of weapons, a 32 x 32 green baseplate, 32 white 4 x 4 plates, 32 black 4 x 4 plates, and many other parts. This is a dream deal in anyone’s book!
