One of the nicest recently released LEGO sets is the #43202 LEGO Disney Encanto The Madrigal House. Encanto is a new computer-animated musical coming-of-age fantasy comedy film by Walt Disney Studios. It is set in a fantasy version of Colombia and tells the story of Mirabel Madrigal, a young Colombian girl who has to face the frustration of being the only member of her family without magical powers.
A key feature of the film is the lovely setting with colorful colonial-style houses, which is perfectly captured in the #43202 LEGO Disney Encanto The Madrigal House. Although the set is only 587 pieces and $50, it includes the pieces and colors to replicate the architectural style of the film and also includes some nice accessories. In fact, the set is just begging to be expanded and made into a larger building.
To give you an idea of what can be done with the set, take a look at the larger version of the house created by LEGO fan Thomas Carlier. This project uses roughly 4,000 pieces and recreates the poster version of the Madrigal House, which is taller and more vertical than the horizontal and more spread-out layout used throughout the film.
As you can see, the #43202 LEGO Disney Encanto The Madrigal House has a lot of potential for customization, whether you want to recreate scenes from the film, or you just want to experiment with the architectural style. If you are inspired to work with the set yourself, you can find it at the LEGO Disney section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do think? How do you like the custom version of the Madrigal House? Do you have the set already? Are you planning to expand it? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

The LEGO Art collection was introduced back in 2020 with four sets; the #31197 LEGO Art Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe mosaic, the #31198 LEGO Art The Beatles mosaic, the #31199 LEGO Art Marvel Studios Iron Man mosaic, and the #31200 LEGO Art Star Wars The Sith mosaic. In 2021, an additional four sets were added to the collection; the #21226 LEGO Art Project – Create Together kit, the #31201 LEGO Art Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests mosaic, the #31202 LEGO Art Disney’s Mickey Mouse mosaic, and the #31203 LEGO Art World Map.
One awesome feature of these sets is that they all come with alternate builds, so you can choose from several different designs. Some of these alternates can be found in the instruction books, and others are available online. Recently, LEGO added several alternate instructions for some of the most recently released sets.
The #31202 LEGO Art Disney’s Mickey Mouse mosaic gets a couple of additional options for building Mickey or Minnie. The #31201 LEGO Art Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests mosaic can be rebuilt into a Golden Snitch mosaic, a Platform 93/4 sign, or a mosaic of Hedwig. Finally, the #31203 LEGO Art World Map can be rebuilt into a close-up map of Europe, or a map of Denmark, the home of the LEGO Group.
All of these alternate instructions can be downloaded at the LEGO VIP Rewards Center. There are no points to redeem, so you can download them completely free. Once you click the redeem button at the LEGO VIP Rewards Center, you will get a download button to get the PDF version of the instructions.
The LEGO Art sets are a fantastic way to spend some quiet time and assemble nice-looking decor. If you want to take a look at the currently available selection, visit the LEGO Art section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? Do you have any of the LEGO Art sets? Which one is your favorite so far? And what other sets would you like to see in the collection? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!
