Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our readers! Hope you have a wonderful and peaceful holiday season with friends and family, and maybe even built a bit of LEGO! Below, I compiled some of the wonderful and creative holiday builds LEGO fans built for this festive time of the year.
The holidays display above by luiggi is a tasteful setup of three of the LEGO Winter Village sets. Speaking of LEGO Winter Village, it is a popular pastime for families to display their LEGO Winter Village collection each year. Below is a nice and lovely display by Joel Agee. If you’re interested in seeing other people’s LEGO Winter Village setup, I also highly recommend the Fans of LEGO Winter Village Facebook Group.
A great addition to the LEGO Winter Village, is this Christmas-themed Ferris Wheel created by inklingbricks.
The Christmas Defender by Corvus Auriac MOCs was the grand prize winner of the recent Land Rover Defender contest at LEGO Ideas. It depicts a modified Land Rover designed to help deliver Christmas presents to remote locations.
Like every year this time, Santa Claus has to get to work. Children all over the world are waiting for him. In this latest diorama by Norton74, you can see Santa Claus leaving his red cabin on the North Pole and getting on his sleigh pulled bi two huskies. He has a long way to go.
When Santa is really in a hurry, he can take the Rudolp Hotrod designed by ianying616, the Hover Thunderbolt by Sylon-tw, or the Gingerbread Train by CTR69 Bartosz.

LEGO is currently running a survey to help them understand how people feel about the use of plastics. This is part of a bigger study (you may remember some of the previous surveys), and they would really like to have both parents as well as adult fans of LEGO participate. Results will be shared sometime in the first half of next year.
The survey is run by LEGO’s research partner, Shift Learning, and is available in English, German and Mandarin. The deadline to participate is December 31st (please note that the deadline on the survey page was originally incorrect, and may still show up as such). The survey is strictly anonymous, and takes about 15-20 minutes to complete (it took me 30 minutes, but I was slow and careful with my responses). Most of the questions can be answered by checkmarks and radio-buttons, but there are also a few questions where you can elaborate on your response.
As the survey is conducted on behalf of the LEGO group, most of the questions are about your thoughts on their impact on the environment, and the initiatives they are already taking or planning to take. There are also some general questions about your opinion on environmental issues, especially the use of plastics. In addition, some of the questions ask about your own personal habits, questions, and concerns when it comes to environmental responsibility.
