Here is another opportunity for LEGO fans to design a future gift-with-purchase LEGO set! This time for Valentine’s Day! Below is the description of this fun challenge from the LEGO Ideas team!

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about roses and chocolates – it’s a chance to get creative and put your own twist on love, friendship, or maybe even a bit of self-care. We’re inviting you to build something that represents your take on this day, whether it’s a symbol of love, a message from the heart, a sweet treat for your special one or a completely unexpected take on what makes this day special to you. Let your heart and imagination lead the way!

Your submissions to this contest must follow the Product Idea Guidelines, with the following exceptions to those rules:

  • A maximum of 1,000 LEGO elements.
  • While we love flowers, flower bouquets, and flowerpots are not allowed as the main build but can be included as decorations.
  • Your submission must be either entirely new creations or expired projects on LEGO Ideas. Projects that are or were active during the intake of this challenge will not be accepted.
  • No IP references.

A judging panel consisting of members of the LEGO Ideas Review Board will select all the entries that participate in a fan vote to decide the winning submission. You may submit as many submissions as you like, however, only one submission per creator will be considered for the fan vote. All entries that reach the fan vote phase could be a new LEGO Ideas product! For full details on what the judges are looking for, see the ‘Judging’ section of the contest page.

A maximum of five (5) entries will be part of the fan vote following the judging process. The winning entry in the fan vote will be compensated as a product idea prize winner as outlined in the Product Idea Guidelines and Terms of Service. Meaning, they will receive the following:

  • 1% of the total net sales of the product.
  • 10 complimentary copies of your LEGO Ideas set.
  • Credit and bio in set materials as the LEGO Ideas fan designer.

Entries that are selected to participate in the fan vote, but are not the fan vote winner, will receive the following: #21345 LEGO Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera, #21346 LEGO Ideas Family Tree, #21347 LEGO Ideas London Telephone Box, #10313 LEGO Botanical Collection Wildflower Bouquet, and #10328 LEGO Botanical Collection Rose Bouquet.

Well, prepare to immerse yourself into a build that’s packed with many great, memorable Disney moments and discover so many more movie references… there are even the enchanted ‘bucket-carrying’ brooms from Fantasia in the newly revealed #21352 LEGO Ideas Magic of Disney set.

The set was originally the winning entry from LEGO fan Anna, a.k.a. 2A2A in the LEGO Ideas 100 Years of Fairytales. The model presents Mickey Mouse center staged, robed as the sorcerer from Fantasia. Underneath his outstretched arms, he reveals some of the magic moments from Disney.

“It was really difficult to pick a favorite story that summarizes 100 years of magic, I hope this model can show the many classics through time and offer a truly magical scene for both Disney fans and Lego fans” Anna described.

The winning model was then handed over to LEGO’s own designers for some final tweaks and touch-ups. Here is the official description of the finalized set: Capture some of the most enchanting scenes in the history of Disney animated movies with the #21352 LEGO Ideas Magic of Disney build-and-display model kit for adults. This LEGO building set makes a nostalgic gift for adult Disney movie lovers, sparking happy childhood memories.

With Mickey Mouse in his sorcerer’s apprentice outfit at the center, this collectible model showcases many popular Disney characters and includes the first-ever LEGO minifigure of Belle from Beauty and the Beast with the enchanted rose. Other vignettes include Geppetto on a raft in Pinocchio, Lilo surfing in Lilo & Stitch, Simba atop Pride Rock in The Lion King, Bruno at Madrigal House in Encanto, the magic Brooms carrying water in Fantasia and Sebastian the Crab, and Flounder the fish in The Little Mermaid. The set comes with 1,103 pieces and the model measures over 7.5 in. (19 cm) high, 10.5 in. (27 cm) wide and 6.5 in. (17 cm) deep.

The #21352 LEGO Ideas Magic of Disney set is going to be available starting on October 1st for the price of $99.99. This is predicted to be a popular set, especially with the upcoming holiday season, but you can already pre-order it at the LEGO Ideas section of the Online LEGO Shop.
