After Christmas LEGO clearance sales

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and that you may have even gotten some new LEGO sets to build! If Santa didn’t bring you any LEGO this year, or you would just like to bulk up on discounted and retiring sets before the end of the year, remember that most retailers will be clearing out their leftover inventory before filling the shelves with 2018 products. 🙂

If you have some Christmas money burning your pocket, remember that many of the first wave of 2018 sets are already available, including sets from LEGO City, LEGO Creator, LEGO Juniors, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, LEGO Nexo Knights, LEGO Technic, and LEGO Star Wars. To see all the new sets, follow the links to the Online LEGO Shop.

Also, you may want to look through the 2017 sets to see if you missed out on any that you would really like. 2017 was an exceptionally good year with some really amazing sets, including the #70922 LEGO Batman Movie The Joker’s Manor, the #10256 LEGO Creator Taj Mahal, the #70620 LEGO Ninjago Movie Ninjago City, the #10255 LEGO Creator Assembly Square, the #21309 LEGO Ideas NASA Saturn V, the #21310 LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store, the super cute #75187 LEGO Star Wars BB-8, and the ever-elusive #75192 LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (hopefully, availability will be better next year). To see all these beauties, along with all the other 2017 LEGO sets, visit the Online LEGO Shop.

As the new sets are coming in, older sets are getting retired, so this is a good time to keep an eye on the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop. Expect 20-50% off on sets that LEGO really wants to move. If you have an official LEGO store near you, you might want to see what they have on clearance, or just visit the Sales and Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Other places you can check for discounted LEGO after the holidays is at big-box stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys’R’Us. Keep in mind that many times labels on the boxes and prices on the shelves will not be adjusted right away due to the after Christmas chaos, but you can take up the boxes to a price-checking station to get the most current price. It is a bit inconvenient, but the good thing about it is that nobody else will know that LEGO is on sale, so you don’t have to fight other bargain hunters.

If you plan to look for deals online, you can check the websites of all the above mentioned big-box stores, and also the Amazon LEGO Store. Usually Amazon’s prices are the best, as they like to undercut everyone else, so if you just want to visit one place, that would be your best option. Here is the link: AMAZON LEGO STORE

These are the places I’m planning to check myself for after Christmas LEGO sales. If I find any good deals I will post them in the comment section below, and you are welcome to list your finds as well. Members of the online LEGO fan community have been great at alerting each other about discounts at this time of the year. Happy LEGO huntin’! 😉
