It looks like LEGO isn’t slowing down with exciting 2015 news! A few days ago they revealed the entire Collectible Minifigures Series 13 at the official LEGO Facebook Page. We have talked about this series previously (see: LEGO Unicorn Suit Minifigure & More!) and now we can see all the characters. This series will be available in January 2015. 🙂
First up is the Unicorn Girl with a super cute face and costume. I really like the printed hooves. Then there is the Hot Dog Man, which means that in this series we get two costumed minifigs. I’m thinking that hot dog piece would also work great as a sign on a hot dog cart or other food establishment. Next we have the Galaxy Trooper with a new armor piece. Notice the small LEGO Galaxy Squad logo on his chest. The Sheriff holds up a “Wanted” flyer (printed tile) with the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 6 Bandit, so looks like we can finally have a showdown between them.
The Paleontologist comes with a brand new hat/hair combo, moulded short sleeves and a wonderful printed fossil tile! I’m pretty sure this piece is going to be a favorite of LEGO customizers. The legs are also printed and the face is really nice. The Snake Charmer also comes with new pieces; the turban is an updated version from the previous one and the printed cobra is new as well. This should be another very popular minifig in the series. The Female Samurai doesn’t have any new pieces, however her armor is printed, which is nice as this piece never came in a printed format before. The Cyclops from Minifigures Series 9 finally gets a mate in the form of the beauty-conscious Lady Cyclops with long eyelashes lipstick, beauty-spot… and raggedy outfit with bones. Any arguments about her fashion choices? Watch out for her club! She is not in the mood for teasing! 🙄
Next we have the Classic King with a golden sword, a brand new type of cape and a really nice crown/hair combination (also a new piece). The Goblin should also be a popular minifig. His hat, torso and legs are all very useful pieces for other applications as well. Also, this is the first time we get that bag in dark-brown. The Egyptian Warrior is a gorgeous minifig with a new head-cover and brand new shield. He will be joining the Egyptian Queen from Minifigures Series 5, The Pharaoh from Series 2 and the Mummy from Series 3. Then we got the Disco Diva who is in a class of her own. Check out the printed arms, the side-printing on the legs and those flashy shades! Also, this is the first time that hairpiece appears in brown. You gotta love this girl!
Nice to finally have a Fencer! Note though that he/she is holding the sword in the wrong hand. It supposed to be in the gloved hand! The Evil Wizard definitely looks evil with those fiery cape and robes! The Carpenter minifig has been past due in LEGO City for a long time! This minifig is going to be very popular with that brand new saw, printed wooden plank, nice shirt, printed pants, and hard-hat/hair combo! And last but not least, there is the Alien Trooper. His head-piece will also be useful for undersea life.
As I have mentioned, LEGO Minifigures Series 13 will be available in January. In the meantime you can check out the currently available LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 12 (which in my opinion is one of the best – if not the best – series so far) and the LEGO The Simpsons Collectible Minifigures at the Online LEGO Shop.

Did anyone get any of the Throwback Shredder, Jor-El, Ravager Rocket Raccoon or Brown Ninja polybags last week?
Yeah, this is a nice selection. I didn’t bother with the Brown Ninja, etc. polybags. If I ever run into them fine, if not that’s fine too. I guess I’m just too lazy.
I got the Flashback Shredder, I have Jor-El (opened), and Ravager Rocket (opened). I can sell you the Shredders I have.
Oh I got all of ’em my friend 😀 … I’m torn between opening Jor El or not… but I feel I have to to put him behind glass with my minifig collection, I also ordered the Target minifigure set, so I will have Clark Kent, Superman, man of Steel, Jor-El and Superboy.. I bought 13 more Rocket Raccoons and sold them really quickly at 2xs before the market got over saturated with them, so that helped me buy Leonardo/Karai bike chase, two batgirl keychains, and the 4 Target Minifigures sets ,and I got 2 Jor Els and 1 shredder free, hoping to sell some of the doubles. I have plans for all the multiples, hopefully I can sell them during this montha nd that will help me buy the minifigures mentioned above as well as some series 12 and the smaller pirate sets.. I’m ready to roll!!!

Don’t open Jor-El he is Boring, sell him along with the other Superman figs you have for, $175 dollars. That will sell like wild fire!
Oh my goodness, no, I could not do that LOL, I’d rather keep my collection and sell the extra one to offset some more LEGO expenses.
I always collect all 16 minifigs by feeling the packets, however my boss want’s me to also find him a hot dog guy (I work at a hot dog stand), meaning I need 17 minifigs, but I think that the Lego store only allows a maximum of 16 per customer.
Anthony, if the LEGO store is near you, you can just buy the minifigs you need in two trips. Also, the LEOG store is not the only place that carries them. Most LEGO retailers and big-box stores have them as well. 🙂
Oh man, these are cool!! I’m gonna have to get the goblin in bulk, and a couple galaxy patrol dudes and some aliens for them to fight!!!!!! Oh, and maybe a paleontologist just for the hat and fossil.

The Evil wizard is AWESOME! but other than that I’m not as excited for this as the one currently available. (which I almost have the complete series of! 😀 ) I’m definitely going to get the evil wizard. then if I had that one and the Wizard from the current series I could make and ultimate battle between them for a stop-motion video. Too bad I’m not good with computers, or… motivated to do something that time consuming. Fun, but very time consuming.
Oh yeah, I want the Hot dog guy too! radical! 🙄

I’m going to try to get all the animal suit and whatever suit guys to add to my carnival as characters walking around. Just picked up the Panda suit guy from the movie recently.
Snake charmer all the way! I love doing middle eastern/arabic/persian mocs so more turbans are awesome!
I was initially impressed with the new king but as kt looks like the crown/hair is the same piece I only want his cloak now sadly. The new Egyptian guard shield is also amazing…

That Evil Wizard robes outfit…did anyone else think of Gallifrey? I really like the Fencer, Goblin, and Egyptian Warrior as well. I’m always surprised at the original design choices Lego keeps coming up with for the next series.
Also, did anyone else think that the paleontologist should have come with the Lego Research Center? (If that’s what it’s called, I’m not sure. The one with the three females researching…)
That would have been nice, but to be honest it is better they are releasing her this way. The Research Institute is not available at most places.
It’s called the Research Institute. 😉 I thought that too, but there was a paleontologist minifig in the Research Institute, and LEGO tried to go with the original project design for that minifig. I wonder if that’s where LEGO got the idea for a paleontologist CMF. 😕

The series 13 have been out since 12.17.2014 i bought 5 only opened 1. Got the cyclops dude.
Yes, some Targets started to carry them early. It is just by mistake though and not all targets have put them out. Like mine still doesn’t have them at all and only carry Series 12. I just checked this weekend. So you are one of the lucky ones. 🙂
