#10247 LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel

To recap, the first few days of the month are focusing on LEGO Star Wars with special promotions and sales, as well as the new LEGO The Simpsons set and minifigures. Then from mid-month the LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel is going to be the cause of excitement. Also, in addition to the above mentioned promotions, don’t forget about all the exciting new sets that were released recently, including LEGO Pirates, LEGO Ultra Agents, LEGO Speed Champions and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. And if you are shopping online, it is worth taking a look at the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop before you check out. There are some nice sets there with a good discount, and likely more will be added as they get retired. If you live near an official LEGO store, there are other events you can participate in during the month. You can see the LEGO Store Calendar below for more details.

I have never seen a designer video with the graphic designer too.

    • admin May 1, 2015, 10:38 AM

Yeah, that was interesting. I have seen other videos too when more then one of the designers presented the set. I forgot which ones. I’m pretty sure they were Star Wars also.

Some of the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit designer videos include multiple designers (e.g. Dol Guldur, Orthanc, etc).

  • LegoGeekOffical May 1, 2015, 10:36 AM

Also the Jurassic World sets you can already buy on LEGO.com.

    • admin May 1, 2015, 10:38 AM

I already mentioned that in the article with a link. 😉

I”m so excited for the Ferris Wheel!!! It looks great!!!! I loved the designer video of it. I love that they incorporated more unique torsos instead of using the usual ones.

Yeah, the Ferris Wheel is just stunning! I like everything; the colors, the size, the features… a really beautiful set. We will talk about it more in a few days. 🙂

aw, too bad I am going to the LEGO store (Maybe) this weekend. I am going to miss all of the sales! 🙁

  • Kim May 1, 2015, 4:17 PM

Do we know when the sea diving sets are coming out?

    • admin May 1, 2015, 5:22 PM

Kim, those are the summer sets. They should be available in June or July.

  • BLProductions May 1, 2015, 5:49 PM

Unless something good goes on sale over the weekend, I will be entirely skipping May’s promotions. (looking at you, Skyhopper) However, after reading the Brickset review of the UCS TIE Fighter, I suddenly want that set a lot more. Seeing as I missed 9492, that would be the perfect set to outmatch the Rebels…. 🙂
BTW, admin, in the Jurassic World paragraph, “We will talk … in detail shorty.” I think you missed an “l” there. 😉

    • admin May 1, 2015, 8:03 PM

Ah… but “shorty” was so cute! Thanks for catching that! 😛

  • David Tennant Lover May 1, 2015, 9:56 PM

I hope they have a free polybag for August because that’s when I’m defiantly spending over $75. I can’t turn down those Lego Marvel sets and Star Wars sets!

  • Tom May 2, 2015, 11:42 AM

Somehow the ferris wheel slipped through the cracks. I’m not a big fan of city but thats now on my list 🙂
