LEGO Double VIP Points on Everything!

Great news for LEGO fans! Starting today, March 23rd, LEGO is offering Double VIP Points on all purchases! We haven’t had an unrestricted Double VIP Points period for quite a while, so this is an awesome and rare opportunity! The Double VIP Points promotion will run until March 31st, so you have a little over a week to plan out your purchases. 🙂

Just to be clear for those who are new to the LEGO VIP Program, once you register, you earn points on all of your purchases at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop. Normally, you earn one point for $1 you spend, but sometimes LEGO runs special Double VIP Point promotions on specific items, or on everything (like they are doing now). Once you reach 100 points, you will get a $5 reward, which you can use towards future purchases. If you haven’t done so already, you can sign up for the LEGO VIP Program at official LEGO stores, online, or through the phone by calling customer service. Membership is free. You can learn more about the program here: LEGO VIP LOYALTY PROGRAM

As this Double VIP Points period has no restriction to any specific theme, set, or product, you can purchase anything currently available at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop and earn double points. However, if you have any large sets and exclusives in mind, this is the best time to get them. These sets rarely (if ever) go on sale, so the Double VIP Points period is pretty much the only time you can get them cheaper by getting 10% off in the form of points.

Some of the recently released larger sets and exclusives you might consider are the #10265 LEGO Creator Ford Mustang, the #21316 LEGO Ideas The Flintstones set, the #10264 LEGO Creator Corner Garage, and #70840 LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! You can find them, as well as all other new sets at the NEW section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? Are you planning to get anything during the Double VIP Points period? Which is your favorite LEGO set this year? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Aww, man! I wish I had money now and a Lego store nearby( two strikes) . Actually I’m saving my money until the Avenger sets and Spider-Man far from home sets come out. ( oh , and on a totally off topic note) I’m on Stephen king book kick right now and having fun being scared to death . Lol!

Just don’t read those books at night and have nightmares! 😈

Also off topic, but I went to my closest LEGO store (3 hour drive) to see the life-size Bugatti Chiron! It was even bigger and awesomer as on pictures! It was AMAZING! 😀

Hmmm, I think I have 90 points or something now, so maybe I’ll go wisit the Stockholm store to pick up some BAM minifigs or something…

If the offer’s valid in Sweden…

    • Håkan March 24, 2019, 12:19 PM

Hmmm, went to the Stockholm store and bought three BAM minifigs. (There are rareky anything else in the stores I’m interested in, anyway.) Anyhow, the Double VIP Points made me earn up 100 Points and receive a 50 SEK bonus. (About 5.50 US$, or something.) Always welcome for next time I visit the Stockholm or Copenhagen store…

Awesome! Great to hear that you guys got Double VIP Points too! 🙂

Hm… I’m not sure. Does Sweden follows the specials and promotions schedules of the UK or Germany? Those are the ones that are usually announced.

      • Håkan March 25, 2019, 2:09 PM

I actually have no idea. I rarely follow those special deals or spend more than 100-150 SEK in a single purchase, anyway…

It’s been a while now, since I last earned any FWP bonuses…

        • admin March 26, 2019, 4:44 PM

Hm… I might take a look at this just for my own education. People often write me from other countries to ask about specials, and I don’t always know. But if there is a pattern, of smaller countries tied to the promotional periods of larger markets, it could be helpful to know.

We went to the lego store today (thanks admin for the notification). Picked up a small cup, a few small sets, and minifigs. I think the kids will be good for a while. 😀

Awesome! Have fun with your new treasures! 😀

Can’t find the Lego movie 2 mystery bags anymore both stores ( target ad barnes&nobles) ran out of them fairly quickly. It’s a good thing I got what I got when I did. ( I got about half of the series).

    • admin March 24, 2019, 10:16 PM

Oh, really? My stores just started carrying them like last week, but they are late with every series. You might want to check back from time to time to see if they get new stock.

Thanks for letting us know! I will definitely take advantage of this as I have some stuff on my wanted list. Did any of you get the minifig head mug yet? How is the quality?

    • admin March 24, 2019, 10:17 PM

I have considered that mug myself, but when I saw it at the LEGO store yesterday, I was surprised by how small it was. It’s really cute, but it’s more for kids and not so practical for adults. I opted for another cup that was more normal size.

Duelly noted, ( again off topic) considering that the next book is “needful things” it could be closely associated with my Lego collection and addiction. Of course we wont find out when I have to pay the price. Lol!😈

    • admin March 26, 2019, 4:41 PM

      Don’t be scared… it’s just a book… or is it? 😈

  • Legostuff14 March 26, 2019, 6:28 PM

    Lol! It’s all in my head .. I think?👻
